So... Sullivan's name is Samael?
And Lady Levi was so upset that she open her eyes...
Outings
The day started out like any other. He would wake up and go to school. Spend time with his friends. Grandpa would take him on an outing.
Yes... life was great now for Iruma. He couldn't ask for anything better. But today was a little different from his new normal.
He had gone with Grandpa to the market. Exploring the different stalls. Admittedly, he got distracted by one of the many food stalls and lost sight of his grandfather.
As he tries to find him, he runs into both Razberry and Leiji. You can imagine that the two's presence makes him forget what he's doing as they talk. After all, they're just so fun to be around.
They stop and sit at a cafe. All three of them gorge down on the food there. They talk about everything they've accomplished so far.
Razberry and Leiji argue with each other as Iruma happily eats, listening to both sides. Honestly, it was such a nice atmosphere. He was glad that he had a friendly rivalry with the pair.
It wasn't until later that he remembered that he still hadn't found Grandpa. But that wasn't an issue. It seems Grandpa and his friends had found them. So it all worked out.
"IRUMA! Are you hurt? Are you hungry? Were you scared? I'm so happy I found you!" The young boy couldn't help but laugh at the old demons' antics. It was just so nice to have someone who worried.
"I'm fine, really. I was just spending some time with Leiji and Razberry. I ran into them while looking for you."
The older demon pouted as he held the human in his arms. "That's not fair. I wanted to spend the whole day with you. It looks like you had fun without me!"
"I'm sorry... oh! I know! Why don't all six of us do something together? It will be fun!" He offers hopefully, looking at the others.
"Oh, that sounds lovely, doesn't it, Leiji?" Lady Levi claps her hands together happily. "It matters not." Scoffs the younger demon.
"Awwww, is someone afraid to get beat?" Razberry asked teasingly. "I'll crush you." "Bring it!" Lord Belial laughs. "Looks like we're all in!"
The great rampage
Fits of passion or rage were not uncommon among demons. It was a natural cycle. Hence, the term evil cycle was given.
Most demons preferred solitude for moments like these. But every now and again, you might see one on display in public. of course, this was usually the case of the younger generation. Who weren't able to keep emotions in check.
Or you might see it on the battlefield. Emotions are high. Fighting becomes intense. Some are addicted to the feeling of hanging on by a thread.
But there are times when even the strongest and most controlled demons can snap unexpectedly. It's a rare case indeed. But not unheard of mind you.
So, you might ask yourself. What would it take to get one of the three greats to snap? They are always calm under pressure. Yes, the three heroes are so... patient in such events.
Well, I'm sure you already know the answer. It is obvious, after all. Mmm? No not attacking their schools. Huh? No it's not their grandchildren either. You'd die trying.
Must I really spell it out for you, dear? … very well. If I must. What is the one thing those three have in common? Beyond titles, beyond strength of power.
Who was the one to drive them? The one who encouraged all of them to be more and to keep climbing? The one all three of them hold dearly in their hearts.
That's right. Now you understand. Derkila has always been the answer. You can say all sorts of things about them. You can try numerous attacks. But hey, if you want to taste death so badly, all you need to do is insult their king.
I'm sure nothing will be left of you if you said it in the presence of all three of them. A savage feeling will lay inside until they shred your remains. The sky will darken the ground will shake.
The netherworld may never know peace again if you make such attempts. There will be no place to run to. No safe haven to hide. You can only pray your death will be a quick one.
Because it will not be painless. Oh no, you will feel agonizing pain till your last breath. You who dared to insult their beloved Derkila. Hell has no mercy for ignorant fools such as yourself.
Bragging Rights
The first time
It was a normal meeting among the three greats. Well, as normal as any meeting between them could be Levi and Belial shoving pictures into each other's faces or pulling up videos on their Hellphones.
"Ha! Your brat ain't got nothing on mine! Look at those muscles! They're gonna win the heavyweight title for the Hell Wide Tail wrestling tournament next season!" Belial cried out, shoving a poster in Levi's face.
Scoffing, Levi pulled out a magazine. "Your child has no brains to speak of whatsoever. Mine, however, has made yet another scientific discovery. Just yesterday, they were interviewed on the shadow times!"
Both growled at each other before turning to scream. "SU-CHAN!! YOU PICK WHOSE IS BETTER??" The great lord Sullivan's shoulders started shaking. "Su-chan?" Levi asked.
A loud cackle escaped the slim demon. "I think he's finally cracked," Belial murmured. "Oh ho, I'm sorry you two, it's just..." Wiping a tear from his eye, he smiled brightly at the pair. "I can't be your tie-breaker any longer."
"Wha-" Sullivan turned to withdraw a large portrait from out of nowhere. "BEHOLD!!!! I have a precious child of my own to brag about!" He gleefully shouted as his comrades could only stare in shock.
There in the frame sat a small individual on a throne-like chair draped in the finest silks, and a beautiful array of well-placed fine gems and pearls decorated your neck and hair. Your eyes were half closed as you stared out at the artist in what seemed to be amusement from the hint of a smile dancing across your lips.
"WHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTT" Twin screams echoed throughout the tower as both tried to push each other out of the way to get a closer look. "Yes! Aren't they just adorable?!" Sullivan looked pleased if the blissful face he held was anything to go by.
"How did you get a kid???? You don't even have a wife!!!" Levi snapped. "They don't look a thing like you!" Belial accused, pointing a cracked finger at Sullivan. "Well, of course, they do see they have my adorable charisma! And what does a wife have to do with having a child?"
Both fell out of their chairs at this point. Unsure of what was happening at this point. Su-chan with a child? That didn't make any sense!
Nowadays
Both Levi and Belial thought they got one over on Sullivan today. Both had brought absolutely adorable pictures of their children when they were younger. Sullivan did agree that they were cute, but....
Not as cute as you holding a baby Iruma and Jazz on your hips. (All due to a magic potion gone wrong.) standing next to Balam, who had a tiny Clara trying to escape his arms and a small Alice peeking out from behind his legs.
The two demons were blinded by the unholy cuteness bestowed upon them in this moment. "Isn't my family adorable? You know, you two should also get some more grandchildren if you want to keep up with me!"
Finally, Sullivan's ultimate victory against both of his colleges came! He excitedly skipped all the way home. More eager than ever to spend time with his cute and growing family. "Ojii-chan is home!" He called out happily.
Tiny squeals and rushing footsteps sounded as little Iruma rounded the corner, jumping into his grandpa's arms. You followed quickly behind while holding a very glittery little Clara. "She found glitter. I don't know how, but she found glitter." The chair-demon cooed and took several pictures of you both.
"Dali-san says they should be back to their normal age come morning." Sullivan wilted a little when he heard that. "But can't we ju-" "Absolutely not, regardless of how cute they are." Your firm tone leaving no room for arguments.
MADAME ONE CHANCE PLEASE
Chapter 23: Dinner of the Thirteen Crowns
Lord Sullivan just wanted to be a grandparent like his fellow high-ranking demons. I love all the photos of Iruma he has, they're all super cute. It was also cool to Ameri's dad, and Azz's parent is also a high-ranking demon.
I hope Lord Sullivan can find a way to protect Iruma's identity though. It's just like Ameri's dad to suspect human activity, just like Ameri did with Iruma.
It took me WAY too long to get this one right 😂
