This campsite scene looks a lil dirty, possibly even trashy, I mean maybe it's all the bruises on my legs that looks trashy, but trashy or not, I sure as hell ain't at a Walmart parking lot! The other day my road life homey @this.wild.dream shared a guest blog post from @tinyhousetinyfootprint titled "Why #vanlife Wasn't for Me" and while I realized immediately why "vanlife" wasn't for the blog's writer, it wasn't until having a deeper, post-op, heart-to-heart with Ranger Rob (go give this guy some healing good vibes), that I understood how it felt like living life on the road and doing whatever it takes to sustain that lifestyle is the only option for those of us that "vanlife" is for. Yes, living in a vehicle & traveling full time isn't for everyone and social media does have a way of romanticizing all aspects of individual lives, not just the ever increasing #vanlife segment. This is why I try to keep my social media content honest & genuinely post only when I have something meaningful about my experience in life on the road to share. But the truth of the matter is, life has its ups and downs, even when you're living a life that's true to you, and if you aren't following the life path that is for you then you'll never be happy and you'll never be willing to do whatever it takes to keep that lifestyle. All of this inspired me to start writing blogs again. A series of in depth how to's of life on the road. Starting with "How to Never Camp at Walmart" (http://www.ladyadventures.com/blog/how-to-never-camp-at-walmart) where I dish my secrets, from 1.5 years of road life experience, for finding photo worthy places to park the Bandit, with not a single night spent at Walmart. So if you think #roadlife is for you and you don't want to camp in Walmart parking lots or just want to know how to find places to camp while living in your vehicle, go read my blog!! 👈🏽 words I never thought I'd say again photo: @dosomethingcool #ladyadventures #howtonevercampatwalmart (at Jackson, Wyoming)
