#ladybug akumatized

So with the trailer for heartfixer blowing my mind, I thought I should just put this out there:

We are theorizing that this is the episode that Marinette gets Akumatized. The episode/Akuma name is Heartfixer.

About 2 years ago (not too long after the season 5 ending) I wrote a long, epic fic over 70k words and 25+ chapters. I have yet to publish it because other projects took me away when I was close to the finish line, but I am still determined to publish sometime soon.

I am writing this because (and I hate spoilers but I think it's incredibly relevant) in this fic, Marinette gets Akumatized, under somewhat similar circumstances, (Ie there's an aspect of misunderstanding and cheating that isn't as it seems) and I swear to the Kwamis, her Akumatized name is Heartbreaker.

So this is my official post claiming right here right now, I wrote this 2 years ago and holy cow what are the odds? 😂

And just because I know it will still be a while before it's published, I offer this snippet from said fic (with the title redacted so that I can still somewhat preserve the plot twist, haha) because my mind continues to be blown!

Perhaps this is what Marinette/Ladybug would look like when akumatized. Or not. But this piece, I call.... LadyMoth. And no, I do not ship Ladybug and Hawkmoth. Despite my last post. Besides the point, I called her LadyMoth because she still is Ladybug, but her colors scheme looks like Hawkmoth’s so I stuck with the name. Plus she was LadyNoir when she got the cat ring.

Akumatized Ladybug/Marinette

I just realized it wouldn't be that bad if Marinette got akumatized.

I mean sure, she is Ladybug and it would be difficult for Chat to beat her, but after that it's kind of a peace of cake.

We have seen that the akumatized don't transform back to normal thanks to lucky charm, they transform after the item of akumatization is destroyed.

We know it is possible for the holders to be akumazized whether they are in or out of their costumes. That leaves us with two possibilities.

Ladybug gets akumatized

Even though this is the less possible option, it's still somehow possible.

If Ladybug got akumatized, there would be just one problem. Defeating her.

Chat would have to defeat his lady as quickly as possible(possibly with the help of other heroes) and once he does, Ladybug would turn back to normal and capture the akuma

Of course, there is a slight question mark to this theory because after the akuma is captured, there is probably something destroyed from their fight and since she didn't use her lucky charm... you know what I mean

Marinette gets akumatized

In this case, it would be slightly more problematic since there is a possibility of her revealing who she is, revealing Master Fu, etc.

Without Hawkmoth knowing she is Ladybug, she would probably transform into a villain with a power that would help her get her revenge.

Of course, after her defeat, she would turn back into Marinette and she would have to be quick, realize what happened and transform into LB to capture the akuma.

Same as the last theory, the damage done by fighting has to be repaired somehow and she did not call her lucky charm

My point is, whether it would be Marinette or LB, the akuma can be captured. If her akumatization was illogical (she wouldn't turn back, akuma would never be captured, etc.) then I believe the writers of the show wouldn't make her akumatization in the show. BUT as I stated before, she would be able to capture the akuma in both cases.
