The Tides Are Changing - Catelyn/Sansa
Sansa had been a mother and wife for over two years, she was married to the captain and king, Cellon Greyjoy. When they had married, she had been the salt wife to him, but after the deaths of Velara Blacktyde and Euron his rock wife and father, he had raised Sansa to rock wife. Making her Queen of Pyke in one swipe. Her time in Kings Landing had helped mold her into the kind and gentle queen and mother that she was today. She had not seen her mother since she was four and ten years of age, but she thought of her every single day. Asking herself, what would her mother do in the same situation, when making any decision, big or small. She wondered often times if her mother would be proud of the woman she became, and if she would approve of her life now. It had been said that Theon was the reason her brother's had been dead, that the turn cloak was the one who murdered them. She did not know the truth of it, but how could she blame every Greyjoy for only one's actions? Besides, Cellon had saved her from the threat of Joffrey Lannister. Hid her from his guards upon his greatship and then traveled all the way to Pyke. He let her choose where she had wanted to go, and he had let her choose the alias she would live under for a year and a few months. He gave her a new life. The day word was delivered to her and her husband by raven, that her mother had resurfaced after all these years, she had collapsed from all the overwhelming emotions that came flooding in. When she had finally come to, her husband had been sitting beside her bedside, head bent down as he held her hand. "Are you alright?" He asked when she finally came to. She nodded and sat up slowly, "Mother? Is it... is it true?" There was no telling if the words on that parchment had been true or not, but he vowed that he would find out. He would send word, and guards out to where she was spotted and he would have them bring her back to her daughter. "I need this to be true." She admitted desperately to her husband, she missed her mother so much. Falia had taken the roll of mother, but never Catelyn's place. Two weeks time had passed since that night he vowed, that very evening he had sent his men on the expedition of finding Catelyn Stark. What had become of her in the years she was missing, no one could tell Sansa. It drove her mad not knowing, but she was grateful to know her mother was not dead. That had been the worst day of her life, when Cellon had given her the news, she had seemed to disappear off the face of the earth. Today though, she would be reunited with her mother, and all would be well. She had dressed in black and grey clothing. The two dominant colors of both houses. The houses she and her husband had united, House Stark and House Greyjoy. She and her husband sat in the throne room, as they awaited the arrival of her lady mother. She was sitting, motionless, in her chair beside her husband's seastone one but Cellon could tell she was nervous. He reached out and grabbed her hand, pulling her out of her thoughts as he whispered softly to her. "Come back to me my love." She looked up and smiled, squeezing his hand. "I'm here." The doors began to open, and she straightened up in her seat and held her breath.
