1:First game you played obsessively?

Pokémon. Blue edition. It wasn’t mine and I only had it for a few days. I had to make every day count. XD

2:A game that has influenced you creatively? Writing, drawing, etc.

If only I were a creator... I never had the patience or skill. But for some weird reason Assassin’s Creed has influenced the way I look at architecture. Could I climb that? (if I weren’t the unathletic couch potato I definitely am)

58: If you can only play 3 games for the rest of your life, which ones do you pick?

The Witcher 3, Fable, and Mario Cart. The first is my favourite game (atm), the second always feels like coming home, and the third in case I get visitors.

69: In your opinion, best game ever made?

The Witcher 3. It has everything I like in a game: vast world to explore (one that is actually worth the exploration), fantastic storytelling, great humor, fun combat mechanics, a guy with a nice beard.

End Of Year Fic-Writer ask meme: #6

#6 What’s your favourite piece of dialogue you wrote this year?

This is actually super ironic, cause I was just complaining to @ivnwrites about the fact that I have a lot of trouble writing dialogue. But I think one of my favorites is actually from Vice, my tarkrennic fic.

“That’s a nasty habit, Krennic. Foolish.” There’s a swirl of that terrible cape as Tarkin steps into the clearing, and Krennic whips about to meet him, mouth twisting even as he blows smoke out at Tarkin’s face.

“And I suppose you have no vices?” Tarkin can feel his cheek twitch and has to smother the smirk that wants to creep across it. Krennic is so much more defensive these days.

“None that hurt more than they help.” Krennic takes a step forward, lifts the cig to his lips and takes a long drag. This time, Tarkin can’t help the grimace that twists across his face as Krennic exhales, clove scented smoke stinging Tarkin’s eyes.

“So you admit to having some?” Tarkin tightens his stomach. He will not take a step backward, no matter how foul Krennic is, no matter the soft bow of his lips, no matter the sharp curve of his cheekbones.

“All men have vices, Krennic. Unless they are fools, or afraid of themselves and their needs. I am neither.” Tarkin plucks the cig from where it perches on Krennic’s pink lower lip. It hisses as it hits the damp forest floor. “We’re all beasts. Me, just as much as anyone else. But I know when and how to behave like one.”

ladygrey81:  Do you have an ARCCO? I thought the essay questions were pretty brutal (mostly in the breadth of topics they can question you on), but other than that, not too bad. I'd like to do an FRCCO someday but i need to get better at improvising first :)

No. I’ve decided to do it every christmas-ish for years, but I never do. I started learning pieces for it last year, but then I got too busy with school, and they changed the syllabus. I’m generally too busy with school, and for the past couple of years, I’ve been too busy with organ, ironically, the job I had left me no time to do something other than scramble for Sunday. That and I don’t have a teacher to work with. It makes sense this year, if I can find an organ to practice on. I guess I’ll read a book about Healey Willan and have at it.
