I'll bite. Dr. House. Thoughts?

Specifically what do you think about House's inability to connect because he thinks himself not valuable?

He thinks himself valuable in one way only and is in his ability to detect disease and nothing else, everything else of him sucks and its unnecessary. I think I mean, I like the character, he is a HUGE POS that you can see the progression of from beginning to end.

You UNDERSTAND why he is that way. It adds a layer of sympathy to what would be otherwise a jackass that gets away with a lot. (Obligatory: explanation doesn't mean justification, and the show is most of the time aware of that). The show does a decent and interesting job at balancing the fact that MEDICALLY, he can get away with a lot of things. A LOT, but when he fucks up in the emotional department he tends to pay a lot of the time.

He is a self fulfilled prophecy of hate and isolation. I like that. He is obviously wrong but then again, he is the doctor and we are everyone else, he aint listening like that.

YES. The minute he stops being predictable, JGY would have alarm bells going off--dunno how many loops in that would be but eventually he would just start...doing things. Because that’s what trapped people do. Depending on where the loop starts from, it might just be Xichen quietly doing as he’s told and not trying to reason with him at all that makes JGY stop and go, ‘...What’s going on.’ Guaranteed to have some very fascinating conversations--spicy, horrible, depressing, angry, painful conversations. Over and over again.

I do not know, off-hand. I asked the question on Twitter but haven’t seen a response.

Haha!  That’s an interesting point. I hadn’t planned to do anything for the TV series, to be honest.  This was meant to host the scripts to make the audio drama more accessible since I couldn’t find them elsewhere and that’s it.  When the TV series comes out, it should already have closed captioning and things to make it more accessible, so there isn’t much to really do.
