1. who’s your celebrity crush?
Oh no. Good question. Erm-- I don’t really have one? I mean, I guess Michelle Gomez? But... in the sense that she makes me very happy? Maybe, despite me not having a crush on a male celebrity in... as far back as I can remember... maybe Tom Ellis? I really love watching his interviews... but even then, it’s more that watching his interviews makes me happy than anything else? Do I have one? I’m not entirely sure.
4. do you think its ok to separate the artist from the art?
I think that this is a complicated question. I believe that it’s important to think critically about the art/media/work you consume... about the context it’s created in and what the message of the work is.
On the one hand, you can’t skirt over blatant harmful rhetoric, for example, in a book because you just don’t want to acknowledge it. But at the same time, you are entirely allowed to read and enjoy work by an author who may have problematic views. Same for visual arts, media, etc.
There’s a huge discussion to be had here, but I’m leaving this fairly short for now, just to save on time.
6. how many pairs of shoes do you have?
Good question. Probably... 10-15 pairs of shoes/boots. I’ve just moved so I’m not entirely sure, to be honest. But certainly no more than fifteen?
Three pairs of athletic shoes, three pairs of casual shoes, a pair of non-slip work shoes, a few formal shoes, and a small collection of boots for the winter/rain/hiking...
And I have two or three pairs of costume/cosplay/dress shoes? I’m actually not counting my character (theatre) shoes, ballroom shoes, or tap shoes, though... since those are stage-specific.
9. favorite brand of clothing?
I genuinely don’t think I have one? I usually thrift my clothing or get it second hand, as of late... I don’t mean that to be quirky or anything. Just... I tend not to think about the brand of clothing when I thrift it.
Though, I will say that I somehow ended up with a lot of J-Crew (no, Paradox, not because of Mary), Loft, Worthington, or Talbots in my wardrobe? This sort of makes a bit of sense, however, considering some of the friends or family I get second-hand clothing from.
23. if you could break one of your bad habits which would you choose?
Nail-biting or Procrastination. As a habit, I think nail-biting fits better. I really wish I’d grow my nails out. Procrastination, I think, is more about some of my ND issues, rather than actually being a “habit,” so it feels like a cheat to put it down. But if it counts, I’d rather stop procrastinating.
Hi! [ Re: you tags on the video of Michelle goofing with the salon workers ] In the picture she'd posted with Kiernan and Peter at Dr Cee's, Michelle is wearing a high necked blue cardigan, the same one she wears in the photo with Adeline Rudolph where she holds the candle and in the Kermit video of her with the green blanket. It's the same shade of medium, desaturated blue, and the buttons are three-dimensional, and a dusty translucent tone.
@ladyofriverrun heyyyyyy hi you both are totally right! I just went “Mary hair in the photo?? Mary hair in the video!!”
Michelle’s first appearance in ET Live’s Dec. 21st premiere night interview 👓
I assume you‘re someone who enjoys a good eye-roll at people
true, i’ve been this way my whole life 😂

It would seem that tonight we stand as enemies :P (yes, I am a Collingwood supporter.)
Hahaha oh no! I won't hold it against you, many good friends of mine are Pies supporters... you're in Team Catelyn and that, my friend, is the only team that matters. :D

I’ve found that it’s a pretty easy skill, but people who didn’t grow up reading constantly never cultivated it, so it looks impressive to them. XD
I guess...I don't really remember a time when I wasn'tdoing that, lol. I used to spend recess walking around the playground and reading because I didn't really have friends for big chunks of elementary school. XD

semi-related but I was reading next to some friends today and they were chatting and I didn’t realise one of them had addressed me, so they shouted my name and I jumped out of my skin and they thought I was really sad b/c fiction »> reality. :)
lol! aww. XD They should know better than to try to get someone's attention when they're reading though. :P

I’d say so, because I’m not coordinated enough to do it xD I always trip or bump into people.
haha, I certainly wouldn't call myself coordinated! And I have almost bumped into people before when trying to go through doors...or gotten hit by doors...
