(my rewrite for tlaes. Specifically the recent, what felt like season, ending. In this one, their planet isn't getting blown up, just most of the pizzaplex for Prez. Earth's plan. She didn't wanna risk alerting any astrals of their dimension. She may be powerful but it's not like she actively wants to endanger a dimension where THE soul creator, Virgo, is staying. She's not stupid enough to think that wouldn't cause even certain Rezs to turn on her and call for war)

(title should loosely translate to "The Coward's Mantle" in latin according to Google translate and lingo jam.)

Here some stuff for my LAES AU "Echoes Of The Mind" (Thanks @solarstoolboxtsams for the name Ur the best thats literally so creative-),an au that focuses on Lunar and his Eclipse in his head aka Lipsy in my au

General facts:

• Lipsy was put inside of Lunars head for reasons imma not say now and She basically could take over when She wanted and speak to Lunar when She wanted. Like Novafrost or Sunshine and Moonlight.

• Much later Lipsy would get her own body

• Earth Is much less responsable

• Andromeda Is a villain with Day and Night

• Mars used to already be there at the pizzaplex,he was a jester in the theatre and after the fire he became the new daycare attendant

• EC (Earth's Eclipse) Is considered by Lipsy as her "twin"

• Evelyn sees Andromeda as her mother and Day and Night as her fathers

IDK I MAYBE JUST MAKE AN ASK BLOG FOR THIS SINCE ITS A BIGASS REWRITE AND I LOVE IT SM AND IMMA DO IT IF PPL ACTUALLY LIKE IT- if I do It the asks would be open only for Lunar and Lipsy tho lmao for now

If you could change anything about Day and Night’s arc, what would you change and why?

For me, the main thing I would change is their personalities. I want Day to sound more confident in what he’s doing, because right now he comes across as desperate when Moon and Sun arrive.

As for Night, I don’t really want to change his personality. The only adjustment I’d make is having him give Day a different perspective instead of just going along with everything. Since Night’s biggest fear is being treated like a lackey, I want him to have more of a “I’m not your attack dog—let’s find a different solution” kind of attitude when it comes to attacking.

Well that's a good answer for wanting to change something about Day and Night!

For me i personally would make Night and Day more sadistic and cunning

Tbh I don't want them to be redeemed because I think they have the potential to be great villians.

Day: i would make Day be an opposite to Night in the way of Day being more mentally smart.

Make Day good at philosophy and psychology but awful at fighting or physical activities.

Instead of Day installing a chip in Night's head to get Night to do his dirty work I think Day and Night's characters would be more interesting if instead of Day,Night,Andromeda being in an poly and working together in the daycare, Day and Andromeda were dating and daycare attendants from LAES's dimension while Night was someone from a different dimension who Day sought out for help with his plan.

Night: Night willingly joins Day because Day promised him power and respect, something Night lost.

Night in his original dimension was a well respected knight of the royal family, Earth, Mars and their jester/close friend Lunar.

Night was the greatest knight in history, having defeated many foes and he had the blood of lots of soldiers from other kingdoms on his hands, most from war.

The people adored Night, showing him with gifts and praise and they even started calling him Nightlight because to them,he was the guiding, holy light that shone through the darkness and led them to safety.

Poets would write poems and writers would write stories and bards would sing songs all about Night.

This caused Night to grow an connection to the people, he believed it was his job to do right by them.

The king Mars and his sister, the princess Earth, declared a mass murder of their citizens or in reality and mass murder of all those who stood by Night.

The royal family got anxious, their villagers seemed too obsessed with Night, what if they thought Night should be their new ruler? That simply couldn't do.

So early in the morning, Mars sent Lunar to Night's chambers with a special tea brew Earth made.

The tea contained wistfuldreams, a drug from a deep part of the magic forest, rumored to be able to put a man to sleep for years.

Lunar arrived and explained that Earth had made Night tea so he could start the day relaxed, after Night drank it he fell asleep and the slaughter began.

When Night awoke only a couple hours after, his adoring fans had been killed, their blood painting the city a bright bloody red.

So he returned the favour and killed Mars,Earth and Lunar oh so painfully

But that's how Night tells the story so can you really trust it? Night is an individual who has a twisted sense of heroism, he's an attention seeker who constantly needs everyone's attention on him or he'll throw a fit and in his home dimension it was known near and far across the lands that Night was driven to insanity by a terrific beast inside the magic forest.

Night was known to have strong delusionals he believed to be reality, the neighboring kingdoms do say that Night is the one who killed the entirety of the kingdom of the dead, the Stsarlight kingdom did capture Night and lock him in a cell and declare that at sunset the next day Night would be beheaded, the kingdoms do call Night 'The Bloodmoon' because they're too afraid to speak his name and the slaughter happened durning a Bloodmoon which Night's kingdom holds a festival every year for to honor the kingdom's best knights.

The best knight is said to get a gold badge and sword, two of the things Night stole from his kingdom and took with him to LAES's dimension after Day came to his cell and offered him freedom,power and admiration.

Ehh who knows!

For the both of them together: Day and Night would lowky despise each other at the start and hate each other but eventually they gain feelings for the other but then Day ends up leaving Night when Earth and Harvest barged into their secret base and Night is heartbroken.

Day comes back for Night and apologizes and ends up accidentally confessing his feelings for Night and Day starts rambling so to shut him up, Night kisses him and they're evil villan yoai happily killing their enemies!

I imagine Day became a villan because he is someone who craves knowledge, Day wishes to know all the secrets of the universe and have the answer to everything in the world and even across the galaxies.

The only way Day knows how to achieve this goal is by becoming a higher being, a god if you will.

He's willing to sacrifice his mortality to gain knowledge because to him knowledge is power.

Night became a villan for fame and power, he hates the idea of being controlled which is why he killed the royal family he worked for.

He wants control over everything, he wants people to adore/worship him, he believes he's superior to everyone, he'd set his entire family on fire if it meant that he would get everything he'd want, if he had a family.

Night is narcissist who believes that he is better then any heavenly being that may exist.

He doesn't understand why people worship these beings who don't deserve it, he deserves it.

Night also wants to become a god, he wants the world to worship the ground he walks on and if a few people get hurt on the way it doesn't really matter snice Night will get what he wants in the end.

But yeah that's what I would change about Day and Night's characters

Here's Solar's redesign and some fun facts.

Solar's heart rays (I think, I don't know what to call them) retract when he feels negative emotions.

Solar's eyes get four-pointed star pupils when he feels strong positive emotions.

He only wears the apron during work hours; after that, he takes it off.

Since in this AU he is an actual daycare attendant, his uniform is more colorful to make him look friendlier to the children and to contrast with the colors of his body.

his hands are soft just like LAES Earth and he is as strong as she was at the start of LAES.
