Congrats on the name change Terra. I like how she's stopping trying to fix all the people around her and instead wants to self heal and focus on her hobbies and interests.
I hope she will maybe one day go back into trying to be a therapist but also, being a baker is just so cute.
I drew this as like a hypothetical bakery uniform she might wear? I went hard on the pink because like, how could she not pick a pink uniform? Terra still is a barbie girl at heart!
I also included her old versions just kind of admiring her and how she's grown and changed. It's fun to have a character that's actually willing to try new appearances and new names.
I hope this means Kat might come back into the mainstory? And do a Terra plot? I hope we see the Earth counsel again, and the other Earths. I really can't wait to see how Terra changes and grows!
I've also noticed lately my art was stolen and reposted on someplace called TumbleExplore? If you see any of my art, new and old, I didn't put it there. If there's a way to report and take it down I'd love that but I don't think there is.
I'm anti AI and don't consent to any of my art, writing or illustration based being used to train any kind of AI dataset.
Thanks!
[FAKE SAMS EP] "Earth and Eclipse HANGOUT in VRChat"
(Storyline under cut)
Maybe Earth was rash about it.
But it was haunting.
The way Sun had frantically spoke over the phone paired with Moon's voice in the background, trying to wake a collapsed Eclipse, was a nightmare Earth wished she never had to experience. Even more so when she got to the scene itself.
Monty had carried Eclipse back to their house, being so their body was the only one that could handle Eclipse's overheated state—their green paint got a bit dulled with some areas peeled, but it was better than how the everyone else could take it. Not even Solar was safe from the burns, and he wore gloves when he tried touching Eclipse. At least Monty could do a retouch.
She can remember her pleading to Monty, begging that they allow Eclipse to stay at least for a while before Eclipse can get working on his own accord.
"Honey..."
"Please! Eclipse is my friend—my best friend. Whatever he came here for, it was for good reason."
Monty wanted to remind Earth of the virus Solar found in Eclipse's systems, but they kept their mouth shut. "Okay." They raised their hand, trying to calm their lover. "He can stay for as long as he needs to. I just..." They bit their tongue.
It was cruel to say they didnt want Eclipse in their house, but how could Earth blame them fully? Eclipse reigned terror when he was still a villain and Monty was there to witness it as much as they had experienced it; they could at least be understood just a bit in that case.
But seeing Earth's eyes wide with worry and puffed cheeks to hold back sobs, Monty couldnt do it. They just couldn't. Not to Earth. No.
With a sigh, Monty just nods, and the night ended like that.
Eclipse awoke with a gasp. His body jerked upright to sit before collapsing again, a sudden pain piercing his head. He clawed the sheets uselessly, hissing at the pain until he heard the fabric rip.
He reaches out to touch his head but pauses when he sees how shaky his hands had become—or maybe his vision made him see double. He couldnt tell.
With a pained groan, he turns to lay on his side only to nearly fall off with how close to the edge he was. He pants, trying to stable himself with his only working arm while his other laid numb. Whoever's idea it was to turn off his second pair of arms was an asshole.
He curses loudly. "Sensors.... sensors—pain sensors.... goddammit..." He reached blindly behind his head before he managed to open a latch, revealing wires and buttons. "Where.... damnnit.... where the hell—"
Click!
The pain subsides and he feels the latch be closed.
"Monty." Eclipse gasps out, trying to get his fans working. He looks over his shoulder and at the gator.
"Hey..." Monty retreats back to standing, uncomfortable sitting on the same bed Eclipse laid in. "Earth wanted you to go out... if you can?"
After a few breaths, Eclipse nods. "Uh huh."
"Is that a yes or..?"
"Just... tell her to give me a moment."
"Sure."
Monty turns on their heel, headed for the door before they stop. "You fell on your head, by the way."
"..what?"
"Like, uh, Moon said your knees like bent and you fell forward," Monty wonderfully decides to make their palms face together before making a diving motion. "Knocked your head against the table, and—"
"Okay!" Eclipse waves his hand dismissively. "Im trying to cool down here, Montgomery."
"Sorry, man." Monty shrugs. "Earth is in the kitchen. I'll be off to see what Moon and Solar found." With that, they leave.
Eclipse sighs, returning to regulating his fans with his hand unconsciously rubbing his chest. His mind drifts onto what Monty said, his mind foggy as he tried to recall the memory but it was likely embarrassing enough he blocked it out.
He inhales sharply, his fans immediately sputtering while his voicebox emits a choke that quickly turned into a coughing fit. He can vaguely feel someone patting his back, rubbing his arm reasurringly while whispering. It wasnt frightening knowing it was Earth.
Eclipse mutters repeated "Im fine"s until Earth got the memo, finally letting him breath on his own. His vision slowly clears, and he sees Earth's worry.
"How..." He coughs lightly. "How long have I been out?.."
Earth sighs. "A day."
"A day?"
"Yeah." Earth nods. "Moon tried fixing you, then Solar tried—they couldn't even touch you... then Monty..." She fidgets with the hem of her shirt. "They read this thing in your systems—a virus, they said. They—"
"Wanted me out." Eclipse finishes, knowing exactly what they others wanted. He looks around, guilty. "Look, Earth, I..." His lips trembled before he pursed them. "I brought danger here. I never shouldve came here."
"You came here because you needed help," Earth reaches for Eclipse's lower hands, both limp in her grasp. "And we are more than happy to provide it—!"
"Turn up the news."
"What?"
"Turn up the news." Eclipse repeats. "Youll see how—how airplanes are suddenly crashing, bombs setting off, networks shutting down. All that because of me; the virus thats now in me. Earth, Im... I shouldnt have come here."
Earth furrows her eyebrows. "And I dont believe that." She speaks as softly as she could.
Eclipse sighs, frustrated at Earth's insistence. "Earth, just look at the ne—"
"I dont believe you shouldn't be here." Earth insists. "I know you should be. Im here. I can help you—n-not like how Monty or Moon or even Solar can, but I can help you. Please. Let me help."
"Earth..."
"Youre my best friend." She manages a smile, rubbing the back of Eclipse's hand with her thumb. "No favor is too big for us. I can convince them. I promise. For now, just... hang out with me... okay? Lets make, uh..." she looks around the room, her eyes eventually landing on a transparent kit filled with beads. "Lets make bracelets. You cant get out of bed easy, anyway."
Eclipse looks at Earth for a moment before at the kit. With a sigh, he speaks gently. "That'd be nice."
This one I couldn’t figure out different outfits for, if I draw the kids again I’ll probably think of something then. For reference, his colors are the same as Terra’s.
This kid is just like his mom, one of those who will scold their dad if he eats one too many candies. Absolutely adores animals, very empathetic, prefers reading or calmly playing with his plushies/ Daisy and is basically a peace keeper who (in case of there being one) wouldn’t let bullies get to him or his friends/family.
