some mike headcanons/things i’ve canonized for my au bc im feeling down in the dumps

im a little obsessed with the concept of mike cracking his knuckles a lot. he has to be moving his fingers in some fashion, and i think his fidgeting started with him picking at his scars, but that’s only practical for so long before you start to just injure yourself. so now, he cracks his knuckles.. probably more than just his knuckles tbh. all of his finger joints, his wrist, his neck, i think he’d like all the popping. it relaxes him…..

one of my favorites is that he secretly brings hot chocolate to work lmao. he pretends it’s coffee so he keeps his tough guy rep but it’s certainly not.. he loves chocolate ^^ bonus points if doll made it for him..

punk mike is my holy grail. he is sooo anti-establishment, he would jump around with glee if scott and vincent fell over and died bc he haaaates a complicit bitch. especially after everything he’s been through and how much they’ve lied to him.

my mike in particular does come from a rocky background littered with petty crimes (mainly consisting of theft and plenty of DWI’s), and he regrets the ones that put others in harms way. however he never regrets stealing from a big company that doesn’t give a shit abt anyone. he did what he had to do as a struggling teen with no mother nor father.

in a relationship, he observes everything. but he doesn’t have a good memory. he has to make notes so he can make sure he knows for sure what your favorite movie, color, and band is. he doesn’t trust himself to remember properly.

probably a guy that takes a lot of medication. i expand on his disability a lot, how he uses alcoholism to cope, has a cane that he refuses to use out of fear of being perceived as weak, has the bad temper + bad motor skills and trips over himself a lot, so on and so forth. that being said yes i think he has a lot of medication he needs to take, and also keeps painkillers on standby. they aren’t well organized at allll and he sometimes fucks up his schedule.

little au yap because……because.

purplephone mainly cuz they’re on my mind. it’s difficult to write purplephone while also keeping vincent a murderer, it makes scott look a little hypocritical for hating william while his boyfriend kills and eats people every weekend. but like…..I think that’s fun idk. I like toxic purplephone in the sense that they do love each other but they also feel stuck together. Like no matter what they always come back to each other. And on Scott’s end that’s partially out of fear,, in a “shit this guys crazy and might kill me…..but he’s my crazy serial killer!!!” on vincents end he’s trying his best to be normal for scott but duty calls sometimes yk. and he is very possessive. if scott left him for another man, woman, whoever, he’d be like umm….fym!!!! ur mine hahaha u can’t be with someone else!!!!! and even scott gets that itch UGH I hate them

they’re screwed up for eachother. very.
