vincent at the very least knew mike as a child. i mean it’s right there.

it’s also very likely that scott knew mike as a child seeing as him and vincent are the same age and scott was the original security guard, and he knows about the bite.

that plus fritz and jeremy being around mike’s age too. we are shipping two 40 something year old men with a bunch of 18-24 year olds. that’s weird and if you don’t see how that’s weird you genuinely need to figure yourself out.

they are not all the same age. looking at the timeline for two seconds (^^^ LITERALLY THE IMAGES POSTED ARE PROOF ENOUGH) debunks that.

im tired of seeing the guards mischaracterized and made into predators just for shipping purposes. it’s gross. you cannot say you’re a fan this au and then not take the time to actually research it, look at an archive, something. all you know how to do is make everyone over-sexualized and in love with each other when that is the farthest from the truth anything could ever be.

i don’t even sympathize for the people who are unaware and still choose to ship these things. look into the story and its timeline before you decide what to ship. “but i changed it for my au!” you should NOT be jumping through hoops in order to make a ship “normal.” especially mikecent/purplemike. that is grooming, through and through, and i don’t gaf. putting mike in a predatory situation and making vincent a predator in the first place is disgusting.

there is a whole archive, right here on tumblr, for all of the rebornica au. look at it. start to finish. maybe then you’ll realize that vincent and scott would never fall in love with any of the other guards. they wouldn’t touch any of them with any romantic or sexual intent, ever. people who ship those two with the others are 9 times out of 10 just fulfilling weird predatory fantasies, especially seeing as the younger guards always end up being intentionally infantilized, bc “awww, so cute!” it’s not cute.

currently working on turning the cast into my own oc’s bc i do love these characters and the premise of this show was strong. i just personally don’t like the ending from what i’ve seen get leaked, i think the writing is extremely flawed and lazy, and goose + the VA’s ignorance and blatant racism really bugs me.

of course you can like what you like, hell i still have my plushies and a pomni keychain on my bag. just be educated on the shows creator and the people behind it before blindly supporting them, that’s what i think ^^
