“Chane,” His voice is soft as he utters her name, accent disappearing almost completely. Claire kneels at the end of the bed, gazing at the almost naked woman in the center of it. How he had missed her. Claire had come to realize he no longer enjoys going on missions where Chane didn’t accompany, be it to keep him company or to help him assassinate a dozen guys, nothing ever was good enough if she wasn’t around.

Ever careful he traces meaningless patterns on her foot and up her leg, slowly moving closer and parting her legs to find a comfortable position between them. Usually he talks for hours, having to tell her everything she has missed while he was gone and how they should go recreate the same moments with her there next to him

Arriving home to find his wife awaiting him wearing a new set just for him has Claire realize nothing matters except his duty to his wife. If he still remembers after he will tell her what happened. The way the sun bathes the room and Chane in light has Claire thinking she’s an angel, absolutely stunning and breathtaking.

“That just for me, huh? Man, I’m one lucky guy, let me tell you that. Can’t believe I almost stopped by Luck’s place first and leave you waiting here for me.”
