I learned something not too long ago about the Splatoon Coroika Manga that is ridiculous and vary uncalled for. Fans of the Manga are GATEKEEPING the Japanese Chapter Raws of the chapters and I think that is straight up ridiculous. I recently came across a Tumblr ask from an anonymous user asking for a raw provider to share the Raws and the OP basically said nope I’m not sharing the Raws because of Korean sites mirroring my stuff. Well I went and I tried to look for said mirrors, well i can’t find them (yes I even searched the names in both Korean and Chinese, Plus if you want to be credited so bad, just watermark your name on the scans). It’s crazy that people are so set on gatekeeping Japanese chapter raws to a manga based on a video game (it’s also a kids manga so..) and it’s not like the tegami bachi raws where its unknown if people still have the Raws saved and who has them. With the splatoon manga it is seemly know who and what people in the community are gatekeeping the Raws, like the Raws are archived, but the people who have them are choosing to be scummy and gatekeep them to themselves. Honesty all the Raws to splatoon Coroika manga should be uploaded to the internet archive and made accessible to everyone because I believe that stuff should be preserved for anyone in the future who wants to scanlate the series and wants to read the Raws. The fact that some people think that they can gatekeep Raws to a Manga based on Kids video game and want to cause drama, trouble and controversy over chapter raws that should be easily accessible is insane. I understand that scanning magazines is a lot of work and time consuming, but don’t be a jerk to people because you (they) want to keep the Raws to themselves.
