            Such a look the man was giving him. Was it one of intrigue? The knight was never one with much talent for reading the expressions of others, bar the ones of his enemies on the battlefield. Despite this, he could detect a nigh...vindictive aura from him. And yet, no sign of ill intent was present. How peculiar.

Blood

The heavy coppery smell in the air was nothing new, and it was a smell of something he shouldn't be used to at his age. While blood was blood, this crime scene was different than ones he had been in before. Limbs were torn off in an almost animal like nature and laying across the pavement in the pools of blood. This vaguely reminded him of Hinata and what had almost happened at the hands or rather mouths of her Father's dogs. He could very well conclude that the victims were mauled by wild animals. Were there wild animals in Citta? Yet there were no signs of bites or of any prints in the blood.

"What could have....?"

No, before he starts to think too hard on the situation he needs more information. A witness or something, he needs to know it this was an animal or if the case just got a whole lot more interesting. He turned his back on the scene being careful to step by the police and not get their attention while he was sneaking by and they were making their way in. He had been lucky to arrive there first or he would have never been able to see what he had seen.

Sneaking out, now that was where he had made his mistake, taking glances over his shoulder as he stepped onto the street nearly bumping into a rather large man that just happened to be passing by. 

"Oh? My bad, should have been paying attention to where I was going, not to what was going on behind me." Well this might actually be beneficial to him if this guy knows anything, "Seems there's been an incident back there, its a real mess, it looked like they'd been attacked by some kind of wild animal. I've not seen many wild animals around Citta though, I assumed we didn't have any."

Alphonse’s armor clanked dutifully as he wandered somewhat aimlessly, more than likely in search for a library. Since his arrival he had been creating his own mental map of the city. Though it was evening and many of the citizens had turned in for the night, it was likely that Al could found roaming at all hours. Not requiring sleep or food had its benefits in some ways; he had endless time to roam and learn more about his new surroundings.

As he plodded down the street he noticed a rare figure, but didn’t think much about it at first. Had he not caught a glimpse of the other man’s face he wouldn’t have stopped, but a glimpse was all it took. The suit of armor almost gasped.

“It’s you!” he said, his tone revealing his surprise nonetheless. It was somewhat alarming; the man or beast that had invaded some of his most personal memories was mere feet away, and with him came feelings of uneasiness. The boy had little to speak about to others, and for the most part he had kept to himself; this was truly the only familiar face he had seen since his initial arrival.

“You’re stuck here too?” he asked, though the answer was more than obvious and he had little doubt that the other Alchemist would point it out.
