The pan starts with the foreground in focus, then slips to the stack with the wall, waterfalls, and central pillar. Stitching that required some careful trimming around the edges to make sure that both Sai Saici and the wall are in focus. The reason I kept everything in-focus was because I didn't have euqlly out-of-f-cus parts for the entire bottom third of the image. You can see a bit of that with the teeth of the wall in the lower left corner: they're a little blurry.

The wall way over there in the background must, by this perspective, rise well above the Emperor's pillar. How tall are these winding segments of wall, really?

That fight with Argo solidified Sai Saici as my fav character tbh, because he looks easy to read as a character before that, but that episode showed that he will drive himself to success against all odds. Half of that ep was about Saici fooling around, with a fighting motivation being kinda shallow and not even driven by personal desire. He also overestimates his abilities while being a scaredy cat. Argo and Schwarz were sensible to treat him like he's wasting his energy.

The set up wanted me to believe he's going to lose and it's what he deserves.

And yet he doesn't. That fight ended in a draw with both fighters exhausted from matching each other; Saici against Argo's brute strength, and Argo against Saici's persistent craftiness.

Saici is silly in his everyday life, but he's dead serious about Gundam fights.

Such a great match. 🥹

I laughed every time they had to group up to bully Domon. Saici already had red eyes by default so he just looked possessed when he smiles like a cartoon cat.

Domon and Saici have so many similarities 😊

Both are driven by goals pushed to them by circumstances surrounding their family. Saici is from a Buddhist background while Domon goes through stages of Buddhist enlightenment and imagery.

Saici also calls him Aniki, but I don't think Domon realizes that he's genuinely become a big bro like Kyouji 🥺

Diva of the Dead gets a sequel, Chris gets to enjoy having small breasts, the priest is back, and Dr Ver has to play the straight man to Adam and Fudo.

I really do hate to say it, since I wanted to love it so bad since I really enjoyed Symphogear, but Princession Orchestra is the epitome of wasted potential.

I gave it so much grace but now that I'm 70% done, all I can really say is that it's a shame. I can see the vision, I can see what it is trying to do and that it has good bones.

But, for every plot point they execute, I always think "I've seen this done better in older magical girl shows"

Also, for a show that surrounds singing and the magic that that creates, I feel like it is a bit of a strange decision to make any concert scenes have no or very stiff animation.

The animation of the transformations and the finishing attacks is amazing, along with very cool designs, but anime is a visual medium and a cool design does not make up for it not being put into motion.

Seriously, what a shame.

To have Nana Mizuki and Hana Kanazawa on your cast and fumble your show somehow is crazy.

So, in my bid to find extra manga to add to the translate list, I've found something... curious.

Not only is this completely untranslated, but it doesn't even have a page over on Mangadex, or any other manga reading sites I know of (which, admittedly, isn't a long list).

Better yet, all the raws are up on the wiki. Looks like I'm not getting off the Symphogear train just yet.

It'd probably end up being an 'exclusive to Tumblr' upload because of the 'not listed on Mangadex' thing, but hey... an upload is better than nothing.

But, it'll probably be low on the priority list for now. Already got two things lined up for next.
