//i’m just gonna respond to this because i don’t understand it tbh, i took the “75% of the limbs missing” being that there were a total of 8 limbs in that pic (4 and 4) al loses 4 and ed loses 2 so 6/8 = .75.. or 75% end up missing

son of pride // al & pride

Hive City was relatively quiet; emphasis on the relative. Despite his short time here, Al had already witnessed many of the strange people who occupied the city. That was, of course, after having his memory invaded by a beast of a man. He almost shuddered at the thought.

This place wasn’t anything like Amestris, and it left the suit of armor often gawking in awe. Despite his nonstop looking around, he had yet to catch a glimpse of a familiar face. None of his friends had appeared in this place, and he wondered if it had something to do with his trip to the gate. He had been so close to his body.. promising to return to it.. and then there was this.

As his armor clanked ubiquitously as he continued to walk and he began to look down instead of up. Many of the inhabitants here couldn’t match his height, and if he wanted to peer at them it had to be downwards. Most of the passerby had seemed normal, and he let out a sigh when he realized he once again spotted no familiar faces.

That was, until, he looked across the street and locked eyes with one.

Clang, clang, clang. The memory of having his head so rudely hit upon filled his mind and he gasped, quite a bit louder this time.

“It’s you!” he called, the confusion and distress evident in his town. He garnered only a few passing glances from passerby as he cautiously approached the boy in a defensive stance. Although his alchemy had been greatly reduced since his arrival, he was still skilled in martial arts and hand-to-hand combat. He would only hope that Pride’s abilities had been doused as well

“How did you get here, Pride?” he asked accusingly, his tinny voice failing to hide all of the distaste that came forth. Though the homunculus had more than likely arrived the same way Al had, he wasn’t willing to take the chance that he was wrong.
