sgjoli tagged me in ask about books and litetarure. At the end of the post, I add some of my questions and tag some people I know at tumblr.

1) If you were an author, what genre would your books be written in?

Magic realism. 

2) Who is your favourite and least favourite author?

To pick just one would be too discriminating. Also, I haven't read all the books in the world (yet), so I really can name the most and least favourite writer. I don't like Stephen King (quantity over quality) and also popular book series such as The Hunger Games don't really appeal to me.

3) What is your favourite and least favourite genre to read?

Once again, magic realism is my favourite. Sci-fi, fantasy and children's books aren't really my thing.

4) Do you know how many books you have read in your life?

Probably more than the most of people I met on a street today. Hmm, about five hundreds, maybe six. Or I don't know. I'm not very good at numbers, but I spent the whole college reading and I never stopped since.  

5) Do you like reading poetry?

I enjoy poetry written by musicians. Maybe I should call it published lyrics then? 

6) Do you prefer printed books or e-books?

Printed, I've got special system of bookmarks and written notes which is impossible to use with e-books.

7) Is there any movie you like more than its book?

...I don't know? But I love Czech films based on the books as much as I love the books itself, such as Smrt krásných srnců, Kladivo na čarodějnice or Spalovač mrtvol. 

8) Do you prefer going to library or buying the books and having them home?

Buying them (I kind of like spending a lot of money; I know it's a horrible confession though :D).

9) Who is your most favourite book character and why?

Kafka Tamura. 

No, really, I can name at few dozens of favourite characters, it is impossible to pick up just one of them; or one book and one author. 

10) What book are you reading right now?

A Moveable Feast by Ernest Hemingway I found in my father-in-law's library, and The Blackhouse by Peter May; I picked it up, because I liked the cover made by Host :D The book itself is not bad, although I think about passing it on to someone who enjoys detective fiction more than I do. And I recently bought Žítkovské bohyně by Monika Tučková to see what's such a fuss about this book. I hope it's good!
