FINE DWARVEN CRAFTS, DIRECT FROM TOMRA
Oh! This is where that comes from! I've seen people say it as a greeting emote at the start of dungeons and raids before, and now I'm finally here!
Lali-ho
Lali-Ho
"Lali-ho!" Comes the greeting from the Warrior of Darkness, making Ni freeze in place and, to the shock of both Shio and Lett, she glares in response instead of offering the traditional answer.
A gruff, almost pleasant voice responding in nearly the exact same way has Niwett's breath stopping and her heart hitching. Closing her eyes against the pain, she whirls on the spot, storming out of the common area, ignoring the calls of her name.
She runs to the dark safety of the room, slamming and locking the door behind her before taking a haphazard armful of Orin's hardest liquor out of the cabinet where she had carefully stocked it just the day before.
Plunking herself on their bed, she yanks open the bottle and downs it, and the following two bottles, in nearly as many minutes.
By the time she hears the doorknob rattling, she has finished most of the alcohol and is feeling vaguely sick, but her heart is still twisting, aching, missing the Orin she used to know. She curses herself, Tomra, her aunt, and the Warrior of Darkness as she continues to drink, voice slurring.
As the door opens quietly, she curls on the bed around the last remaining bottle, tears streaming down her face. Seeing Orin's worried eyes, one forever in darkness for him, she mutters 'Lali-fucking-ho' and passes out.

lali-ho like you mean it, old man
Lali-hooooo!
Are you really just gonna scroll on by without sayin’ “Lali-ho!”?
