Pretty piece of work from Lamazou for National Sandwich Day! Turkey, pesto, mozz, artichoke hearts, lettuce and mayo on semolina. Happy Sandwich Day!

Thursday, February 12th, 2015:  Since moving away from Murray Hill, I haven't frequented Lamazou (370 Third Avenue) as much these days. Finally returned to the stomping grounds a couple of weeks ago, getting my usual sandwiches (yes, plural), which are the Butterfly and Z-Tuna.

They were just as delicious as I remembered, and I couldn't stop thinking about them tasty fixins... so I went again this week. However, I committed to try a new combo sandwich.  Check out the Smart Duck up there - smoked duck, brie, cornichons, and I think dijon as well.

It was a good day.
