The Entire Greek Alphabet as Omega-verse Dynamics (AZLXTO-verse)

At 2am, I though 3 dynamics + male female secondary is stupid when there is an entire Greek alphabet to use instead. Thank you ‘It’s 2am! I need to sleep! Stop thinking!’  thoughts.

Alpha α Dynamic (Alpha Males) 

Alpha - regular ruts and triggered by heats

Beta - regular rut

Gamma - only triggered

Delta - no rut

Epsilon – prepubescent

Zeta ζ Dynamic  (Alpha Females) 

Zeta - regular ruts and triggered by heats

Eta - regular rut

Theta - only triggered

Iota - no rut

Kappa – prepubescent

Lambda  λ and Xi  ξ   Dynamic (Betas) 

Lambda – Male

Mu – prepubescent male

Nu – prepubescent female

Xi – Female  

Tau τ  Dynamic (Omega Females) 

Omnicron – prepubescent

Pi - no heat  

Rho - trigger heats  

Sigma - regular heats 

Tau - regular heats and triggered  

Omega  ω Dynamic (Omega Males) 

Upsilon – prepubescent

Phi - no heat

Chi - only triggered heats

Psi - regular heats

Omega- regular heats and triggered

Most of this is just for medical use in my Omega-verse. 

No one uses medical dynamic names in daily use. They stick more to using a main Dynamic names (α, ζ, λ, ξ, τ, ω).

It is not uncommon for a  ζZeta to go by αAlpha or vice versa. Same goes for  τTau and ωOmega It is far less common for someone to claim to be a τTau or ωOmega when they are a  ζ Zeta or αAlpha / vice versa, or a  λLambda / ξXi to claim to be anything else.

AZLXTO-verse: Baby Name ideas

So how do parents pick a name for their offspring in an AU where there are six genders instead of the two we know?

In AZLXTO-verse, they know which of the six someone is at birth. (It leads to way less bad thing happening to teenagers that are caught unaware of what is happening to their own bodies. So many levels of NO!)

Many might find it weird if an ωUpsilon were named Richard, a name with a very α Alpha meaning. Brave, strong, ruler. Also with the nickname Dick... a lot of societies prefer an Omega that doesn’t use theirs... No, a more likely name parents will pick for their newborn ωUpsilon would be, Theodore. A gift from god. And the adorably soft fluffy nickname Teddy.

αEpsilons would be given strong, warrior, ruler names. (Ajax, Eric, Griffith, Leroy, Richard, William)

ζKappa would have more protector names, or the more feminine versions of Epsilon names (Epsilon- Eric, Kappa - Erica)

λMu would have names that mean smart, wealthy (Albert, Edwin, Frederick, Geoffrey, Hugh, Otto, Ronald)

ξNu is the cute girl names that aren’t overly sweet like Tau names. Such as names the mean Light or Joy or Wise ( Abigail, Elena, Evelyn, Sophia. I used the name Zelene for one Xi. It is apparently the female form of the name Zerach. Meaning light.)

τOmnicron would have cute names like Flowers, Gems, and the 4 seasons. (Lilly, Rose, Violet, Iris, Heather, Saffron/Ruby, Opal, Amber/Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) 

ωUpsilon names would be, like I already stated, Gifts, but would also have more nature related names as well. (Ash, Beckett, Oliver, Robin, Wren. I’ve used the name Leighton, which is a gender neutral name meaning ‘From the Town by the Meadow’.)

Different cultures can also have an influence on what they consider appropriate baby names. These are just some of the ideas I had when looking for character names. Love to see what others think.

λ Lambda and ξ XI Dynamic

λ Lambda is equivalent to Male Beta of other omega-verses ξXi is equivalent to Female Beta of other omega-verses

λLambda

A minor λLambda is known as a Mu. 

They do not have birthing organs, nor do they have knots, even though they do have a ‘male organ’ . λLambda do not experience rut like αalphas/ζzetas. They have a pseudo-rut for three days every other month where they are very easily aroused.  (Sensitive to touch)

Their sperm count is consistent through out the year. They are less potent then an αAlpha and ζZeta in rut, but more potent then them out side their ruts, and far more so then an ωOmega.

ξXi 

A minor ξXI is known as a Nu. 

They have birthing organs, but no slick gland. They do not have the ‘male’ organ’.  ξXI do not experience ‘heat’. They have a pseudo-heat every other month. Pseudo-heats do not come with fevers, or over whelming needs like regular heats do. Pretty much they are moist for three days and that’s it. No they do not have periods, that is the whole point of pseudo-heats.

Their scent is much weaker then the other four dynamics. They still have a scent that gets slightly stronger when aroused. Their sense of smell is stronger then the other dynamics however. Most of the time, they can tell someone is about to enter pre-heat/pre-rut/pseudo-heat/pseudo-rut before even that person.

ξXI are more likely to live in a family group then a λLambda. Not because the λLambda don’t want to, but more along the lines of the head αAlpha/ζZeta don’t want them to possibly take their τTau/ωOmega/ξXi/ζZeta from them. A  λLambda has to prove himself trustworthy before being allowed in a family group they were not born into.

The world populations is roughly 20% λLambda, 20% ξXI 

It is still being looked into, but it would appear that ξXI and λLambda have stronger immune systems then the other dynamics as well. 40% of the populations makes up only 15% of flu cases. The two also have slightly longer life spans then the other dynamics as well.

(I had to give them something! Betas are ignored/treated as regular people in to many AUs. I would like more ideas if you have any.)
