(Sound up) Ginger's little girl greeted the world feet first and required a bit of help to make her final entry! And that wasn't the last of the drama! While her new bambino started nursing Ginger choked and nearly died on some alfalfa pellets I gave her while her bambino nursed. (And I do mean it was a VERY close call). As if that wasn't enough, shortly after Ginger came to, her little one decided a swim in the water bucket was a good idea and hopped in! Thank heavens I had set up a camera to watch the two and had logged in to take a peek! I ran as fast as I could out to the barn, scooped the wee one up, tucked her into my coat and whisked her inside to dry off and warm up before reuniting her with mama.
