laxus was not like the woman before him. no. he knew now he never wanted to be guild master. that was why the fact that makarov decided to send laxus to give some sort of report to the guild master of lamia scale bothered him so much. he hated playing it safe but it was needed. especially considering...everything. he paused as he stood in her office. “i’m laxus dreyar of fairy tail...this is from fairy tail.” he said, all these were quite obvious but he didn’t care. he handed the other the file. playing it safe for the bastard meant doing this shit.

laxus did a double take when he saw the other. it was not someone he normally saw, but then again, he had been seeing many olf faces today. laxus blinked at the other god and said, “hey there, arden--or whatever you’re going by now.” laxus was not sure what that name was. sors or cyrus may have mentioned it, but he forgot it right now. “fancy seeing you here in the big city. here for business?”

“you know, cherie, i may be cleaning diapers seemingly every ten seconds,” lyon began with a smile, a true smile at that. he may be tired, such is the effect of having two infants, but he was happy overall. that was important to note. “but at least i don’t have to see neil’s face daily anymore. i think i have regained some youth over not seeing him.”
