The Voyage of the Dawn Treader paste batik on muslin, inspired by stained glass windows

I've never done a batik before. They're very messy. (Gloopy flower paste 1, Snips's perfectionism 0.) I didn't get the clean lines I was aiming for, but I'm very pleased with the overall effect, and the colour palette came out as well as I had planned.

The stone table at the bottom is based on the stone table sculpture in CS Lewis Square in Belfast, NI, which I got to visit last year, and much of the window design itself was inspired by the beautiful stained glass windows I saw in old churches while I was there.
