Summary: This is a short AU S9 following Gadreel being revealed to Sam. He manages to escape, and when Dean releases Crowley to help them find Sam again, Crowley stabs Sam in the back with an angel blade. Sam manages to survive, but his spinal cord is damaged so he cannot walk. So the Winchesters deal … not so well, as you might expect.

I 100% agree with your meta on why people side with Dean, but I feel the need to defend my older sibling status and say that I am a Sam!girl all the way. Of course, I could be an outlier ;)
Hello, and thank you so much! I know it’s only the case with some older siblings in some circumstances. I’m a middle-child Sam!girl. My older brother (who was technically the oldest for a while because the actual oldest kinda left for a decade; long story) is very much a Sam!boy, though he admits that he prefers Dean’s get-it-done attitude. The oldest of us (the wayward older sister) only watched two seasons before deciding it was too scary, but was the most vocal Dean!girl and found Sam to be ineffective and whiny. You should have seen us watching together.
Hmmm… doing a survey would be really cool, though! It would be really interesting to see if there’s any correlation at all between birth order and/or MBTI type and which character people like.

I adored the ending of Fringe. There’s a little bit of sadness, but mostly I found it really really fulfilling, in a way that most series endings aren’t. 200% worth it.
