Made a ton of progress on my island today instead of doing homework. Not ideal but i'll try and remember to share pictures :)

The trouble with Animal Crossing is that, as much as I do want to decorate the heck out my island, i don't want to change the layout TOO much- the cliffs and waterways- but also allow myself to use the original layout to its full potential.

Also, not having everything- like furniture and whatnot. And it being winter right now... and there's still stuff i need to get for the Museum... (although I have all active critters except the Stringfish)

And not being sure what theme i want to commit to or where buildings should be...

Nothing is permanent EXCEPT a reset, of course. But its just a little... weird. I have committed a section of my island for produce/plants/flowers, so that cool. Im pretty comfortable with that, I think. It's nice! I just need to decide if i want a chaotic orchard or a nicely laid out one.

Also came across the Cherry Blossom island tonight! Really pretty! I wish the trees I dug up from this island KEPT their pink leaves year-round... would make it more special. Otherwise it was just... ok. Kinda worthless to me, beside getting a money rock and a cherry bonsai tree diy. 🤷
