Hear me out, I’m literally a kid, like I’m just 13 years old and and I know how to differentiate someone toxic. I obviously wouldn't date a boy like that in reality. So stop being that annoying. Ow, I think I have reached the peak of my life. A 13 year old child wants to tell me to stop defending what I believe and swears she knows what an abusive relationship is.

I've said it before and I hope I don't have to repeat it again: I know it's just a game. But games, and any other media, contribute to spreading misconceptions about relationships and help to make toxic guys famous. As much as it is "just a game", we need to STOP romanticizing and normalizing this type of guy. We need to STOP making them famous. There are a lot of toxic guys in other otome games out there. Eldarya need not be one more. If Lance becomes LI, Beemoov will be contributing to the stereotype.

And, as you said yourself, you're only 13. What life experiences do you have? None. You have never been in that kind of situation (and I hope it will stay that way). And you are not mature enough to understand the seriousness of the matter. If you really knew what an abusive relationship is, if someone you care about had gone through it, you would never defend a route with Lance. As I said, even if it is "just a game", it helps to spread misconceptions about love relationships.

There are a lot of amazing characters in Eldarya, why exactly the guy who put a knife to her throat should become LI? Does not make sense.

And just because YOU are not going to be influenced does not mean that other girls will react in the same way. It's amazing to see how Lance's stans only think of themselves.

Of course, you may know how to differentiate a toxic guy in real life, but that doesn't stop you from getting stuck in an abusive relationship. Literally ANYONE can have such a relationship. We are all vulnerable to this kind of thing, even if we think we are "strong" enough, or aware enough.

According to my calculations the next episode should be online on the 22nd. I understand that they make that one episode comes out 10 and the other on 22, so if last month was ten this month will be twenty-two and so on long going for the other still will be 10

[Lance route?] Keith shrieked as fallen rubble from the building pinned his arm, feeling bone crack under its weight, the battle had gotten a bit too tough and now the building of this abandoned planet was falling apart. just hoping Shiro or anyone knew where he was. Lance hears a shriek over the coms. “What was that? Hello? Guys, who was that?!” He hears Shiro, Pidge, and Hunk all respond, just as confused. Keith however doesn’t. “Keith? Oh God...” He rushes to the building Shiro had assigned Keith, seeing it collapsing. “KEITH!!” He drops out of Blue who is unhappy her cub is rushing into danger. He looks back at Blue, “Try and keep the building up. I need to find Keith.” He rushes in as Blue purrs at him to be careful. “Keith? Keith come on man, where are you?!”

I can't believe I'm writing this but Lance is a villain. A. VILLAIN. He is bad and does bad things. He having a route is not "toxic" because all the "abuse" he did to Erika was them being ENEMIES. Enemies try to kill and hurt each other. They were not even in a romantic relationship during the whole game! Nothing is being romantized. People will not jump into abusive relationships because some girls wants to play his route. Comparing real abuse situations with character preferences is dumb :/

Exactly. Lance is a villain. A killer. How does someone fall in love with a guy like that? The only reason, in my view, is his physical appearance. Because it's impossible to be because of Lance's personality and character.

Yes, they are enemies. But Lance was a son of a bitch even with his brother. He killed innocent people and companions. What makes you think that he would act differently with Erika just because they are in a relationship? He is definitely not a good person. And he won't change just because he's dating Erika.

Like I said, it would need a HUGE redemption for Lance. Something that is really worth it. And I don't think Beemoov knows how to address serious topics like that.

I've said it before: I'm not saying that girls are going to go around in real life looking for toxic guys just because they saw it in a game. Nobody wants a relationship like that, that's a fact. But give space and fame to abusive guys like Lance, it only helps to reinforce the stereotype. Do we really need another asshole guy like LI? There are so many otome games out there with this type of guy... Enough of giving them fame. Even if it's just a game, putting Lance as LI helps to normalize that sort of thing. It's not because it's fiction that it's okay to have a toxic guy as your boyfriend. Fiction and reality go hand in hand sometimes. The fight against abusive relationships is not just in real life. These toxic guys don't deserve ANY kind of space.

1) Hi! Just wanted to say: the problem is not Lance himself. He's a villain and a monster, no one can deny that, so dating him would be unhealthy... the bigest problem (for me, at least) is Beemoov and how they treated/developed Lance. Let's be realistic: Lance is a fictional character, he doesn't have his free own will. Everything he has done is Beemoov will. If they write him as a bad person, he become that bad character.

Eldarya has always been more serious and more violent than My Candy Love. This is a fact. But Lance was planned to be a villain, and even though the writers may have changed over time, the basis is still the same: Lance was there to be the "bad guy". To be responsible for the chaos in Eldarya. I don't know if he can be less of a motherfucker. He remains a villain, a murderer. He's cold-blooded. All his actions are very well calculated. He knows what he's doing and in his head it feels right. And he supported the plan to the end. This is Lance. A killer. A psychopath. And it is not because he is handsome that he deserves to become an LI. As I said: I doubt that Lance would be so "loved" if he was ugly. It's just because his physical appearance is attractive. This is extremely superficial.

People can change u know? give Lance a chance, we haven't even seen his personality with a girlfriend. Let people enjoy the game. Live and let live.

I know people change, anon. And I have no problem giving Lance a chance as a boyfriend if his route is taken seriously. If he pays for his own crimes and that they are not simply forgotten.

My fear is that they will romanticize Lance's route. That them treat as normal and without a problem the fact that he is a murderer and killed several innocent people. I hope he has a good redemption.

My concern is how they will approach and develop his route, basically.
