The texting Emmet drunk post makes me wonder how different guys would respond to a drunken request to send a picture of their Pokémon. Like, who complies vs being like “where are you, are you okay!?”

The texting Emmet drunk post makes me wonder how different guys would respond to a drunken request to send a picture of their Pokémon. Like, who complies vs being like “where are you, are you okay!?”
Going to Lumiose to participate in the ZA Royale... Your partner, being a professional trainer themself, sends you off with a pokemon they wanted to gift to you and a promise to attend themself as soon as they can.
Steven gifts you a shiny Beldum and sincerely hopes you will use them. If he comes to see you with a powerful, silver Metagross, he will fall even more in love somehow.
Lance asks you to train the Dratini well, trusting this experience might be well for you both. When he finally makes it over himself, he gasps at the well-trained Dragonite that stands at your side. Truly, you must be his mate with no doubt.
Emmet stares you down intensely and holds out a Joltik. He assures you that they are well bred and perfect for competitive battling. When he finally makes it over to see you with a level 100 Joltik, he is very confused. Apparently, the spider is well feared in the Royale, however.
Ingo hands off Litiwick to you with the silent request to please use them. When he comes, he is shocked to see a Chandelure that is Mega Evolved at your side. The happy trill and spin it gives makes him genuinely tear up and yell a bravo while applauding.
N holds out the Zorua the two of you had been caring for and says that they wish to go with you. He feels bad that he must finish things up in Unova, but he is shocked to see you waiting for him at the train station in Lumiose with a Zoroark that nearly tackles him.
Grimsley gifts you a Purrloin with a chuckle. He partially just wanted to mess with you a bit, but also wondered if you would come to use the pokemon's power well. Seeing you standing with a Liepard and a high rank makes him smug when he finally makes it to Kalos.
Avery hated the very idea of you going off on your own, but he unfortunately could not take time off from his gym to attend with you. So, he gifts you a Galarian Slowpoke. He simply wishes to make sure you have a reminder of him whilst you leave him behind in Galar. Though, he is both envious and impressed to see you standing with a Galarian Slowking when he finally found some time.
Guzma gets so huffy you're running off to some fancy battle thing without him, but he got tied up in a favour to Plumeria and could not go with you. Huffing, he gifts you a pokeball with Wimpod and says to not get too ahead of him. He is nearly in shock out of the station when you greet him with a Mega Evolved Golisopod. He didn't know they could that!
Child Ingo and Emmet both awkwardly cuddling their two partner pokemon and trying to ignore the flames/soul stealing and electrical shocks.
Child Cyrus sadly hiding his Rotom and braving the electrical shocks.
Child Corbeau having to down so many pecha berries due to getting poisoned by his beloved friend, Venipede.
Child Lance sleeping in a straight log position alongside his Dratini.
Child Grimsley waking up because his Purrloin decided to lay herself across his face. She is loudly purring
Child Steven happily cuddling his Beldum, completely uncaring of the cool and hard body of the pokemon.
Cuddling various men's pillows while they are out late...
Lance sees you already asleep in bed fairly often when he finally pulls away from his work, but the sight of you with your face buried into his pillow and clutching it so tightly... He immediately wishes to be in your arms instead.
Steven felt awful that a party he was invited to took so long, and he knew you would likely already be asleep by the time he made it home. Yet, the sight of you clinging to his pillow and resting your head atop it... He whines that it is his spot.
Corbeau was so huffy his job ran over long, but there was little he could do. He had hoped you would wait up on him. However, he dropped all that desire to instead see you holding his pillow like you typically held him. He finds himself slithering in to your hold without even waking you up.
Grisham felt awful that the Royale battles were just one after another— especially when you had been unable to join him. When he finally made it to his apartment, he spied you from across the room snuggled up into his pillow. He had pause and internally gush over the sight.
Grimsley kept himself out until the wee hours of the morning. He knew you would be asleep, but he had not expected that you would snuggle up to his pillow. The sight was utterly precious, yet... Well, he wanted his pillow. His head was pounding. He snatched it from your arms.
You spy a Dratini looking around Lance's apartment after they wake up from a nap. The dragon approaches you and lets out a pitiful cry before nuzzling your leg with their head. Petting them, you ask if they are looking for their mama. A whine answers your question. You then state that their mama is in the kitchen.
Lance glances out from said room with a strange expression while holding a spatula.
The mama posts remind me of the cute animal pics with "Let's *insert action* with mama" captions. "Let's be a batista with mama", "Let's look at gems with mama".
Litleo bravely lighting the burner that Grisham uses to boil his water.
Beldum watching Steven (carefully) assault a wall with a pick to dig out a shiny stone.
Joltik menacingly puffing up at someone littering on a train while Emmet approaches.
Litwick looking at the paperwork Ingo is reviewing on his laptop curiously.
Hoopa vibing with Lear in the treasure vault.
Meowth hissing at a Team Skull member trying to vandalise something while Nanu tiredly asks them not to.
Liepard slapping a button on a slot machine before Grimsley can.
Venipede wearing a mock pair of Corbeau's glasses and staring down someone who took a loan with the Syndicate while Corbeau casually threatens them.
Togepi holding the Fairy Plate and attempting a maniacal laugh. Volo stops doing that himself.
Dratini trying to stand tall wearing a cape and slithering after a Rocket member. Lance sighs at the sight. (Then has his Dragonite Hyper Beam them.)
Wimpod trying to be threatening alongside Guzma. Then hiding behind him when the person is too scary.
Lance is like a natural magnet for Dratini. If you take him near any body of water where they live, they all seem to flock to him and demand his attention. It is always a sight to see. He cannot go fishing lest he be swarmed. And then he will be a father of twenty baby dragons.
Steven is a natural magnet for any steel or rock types. He is a lucky charm when searching for either – Though, beware, they will like him more than you. And his praise for them will not stop. He will gush endlessly over whatever pokemon has come up. (He has held an Excadrill with tears in his eyes. Such rugged build and digging capability.)
Corbeau is a magnet for Venipede. His presence draws them out, and they congregate on him like a deity. They also want pets and snacks. It seems he may frequent this area in his free time. He always has to kneel down and chat with them and pet them.
Grisham is a single mother of multiple Litleo, and he cannot even tell you how this occurred. Some from Wild Zone 17 found him and chose him. Teasing him it is because he looks like a female Pyroar will get a huff. He takes his job as their caretaker very seriously and sends out his own Pyroar to have her help raise them.
And, lastly, of course, Emmet draws forth all the Joltik in the world by his mere presence. They all adore him and speak of him in their little arachnid legends. At any random time, he will pull a Joltik from somewhere hidden on his person and start petting it.
Lance would gift a Dratini as a courting gesture from his clan, but also because he genuinely adores them and hopes that you will, too. They are just noodle babies who want food and love. (Dragonite are shockingly attentive parents, Lance would explain.)
Steven gifts you a Beldum, as it is his favourite pokemon. He simply must give one to you in the hopes it will show you just how wonderful steel-types are. Though, he will also admit that he enjoys having everyone know that he was the one who gave you it – A clear association with him. (Besides the accessories he always dresses you in.)
Corbeau bravely gifts you a Venipede. He just wants you to appreciate his beloved bug. Scolipede and him watch your reactions to the hatchling closely. When you pet it gently, he lets out a relieved breath. You were as enamoured with the pokemon as he was. (The Venipede is a clear claim to everyone else that knows him.)
Cyrus offers up a Zubat when you mention wanting something to dote on. He says you can even use your own blood to feed it. Glaring at him resolves nothing. (You both already have shared custody of his Rotom.)
