((This is going to sound weird, but I can see his mindscape as a dark place, but not sinister. Soft, purple and blue darkness with stars of every different color at all hours. There are caves for hiding secrets and memories and ponds as clear and warm as bath water that reflect what he sees and feels. It’s a very safe place.))
