The intention was to get some cat food, simple enough. But somewhere along the line, Sub-Manager's attention diverted and the feline took off, leaping down the pavement, and away from a startled cry. Misaki gave chase, calling after the cat who scurried between wandering pedestrians, skillfully dodging their steps.
Until one person caught its eye, and with a mewl, lunged for the boy, practically throwing itself across his shoes and pawing at his legs.
Irrespective of his reaction, the cat continued playing, even when Misaki finally arrived on the scene, coming to a halt once the animal was confirmed safe and well. Not that there was much doubt; Sub-Manager had always been incredibly intelligent. Even if it would wander off, she was sure it'd make it's way back to someone familiar and make it home.
Even if that was the case, right now, it was pestering a stranger, and she was curious as to why. It wasn't much like the cat to venture off and target a stranger unless there was something significant about the other party. Moving slowly towards the pair, she paused yet again once within a decent radius, a hand resting on her hip.
"Sorry, this isn't like Sub-Manager... It's got a good judge of character though; lucky you".
