Finished reading Wicked a while back and was inspired to make my own variant of the cover based more strongly on the book’s descriptions.

#totally90sbookchallenge Day 4. FRIENDS. Book Besties. Why, Glinda and Elphaba of course! I truly have a special place in my heart for this book. It was my first real encounter with High Fantasy for Adults. The first time I read it, I was 16 and it was a Spanish edition (when the musical was released in Mexico, a couple of years later, I gave it away to a classmate) given to me by a Bookstore Clerk. One of the sweetest people I’ve met in my life. Anyway, Whenever I think of a book that influenced my literary tastes HUGELY Wicked always comes head to head with The Lord of The Rings trilogy. Yeah , to me it’s on that level! And if you only know the Broadway Musical and haven’t read the book.
