Hetalia!!

How I entered/learned about the said game/show/movie/etc of that fandom: I used to be really into MMD, and of course Hetalia was everywhere there, as well as the general internet. At first I didn’t like it because all I really saw was shitty MMDs of America and England making out or whatever... But I saw a few fan comics featuring America that made me laugh, and I thought America seemed like a fun character, so when I had decided I was old enough (AKA when I was 15) I started watching the anime and I was hooked.

Fave character: It’s a 3-way tie between Germany, Prussia, and France. But I also really love Sweden, Liechtenstein, America, Cuba... Basically I love everyone ok

Least fave character: Probably England, but I still love him. Everyone in Hetalia is great!

OTP(s): GerIta, SuFin, MOTHERFUCKING CUCAN... Though honestly there are a lot of pairings that I’m pretty much cool with romantic or platonic, as long as they’re together.

Pairing that everyone likes but I don’t get: PruCan. It’s probably one of the most popular pairings, and seen as a “default” for Prussia, but like... ??? They literally interacted ONCE that I can remember. I guess the usual logic is “They’re both lonely so they can be lonely together!” but like... Idk man, I just feel like there isn’t enough character development between them to validate it. Also, CuCan.

Fave thing about the fandom: I love how it brings people together, and how creative a fandom it is. Also, by nature it never really gets old, because as long as there are countries in the world, there’s material.

The most despised thing: Hetalia is unfortunately a magnet for young, irritating weaboos, and so there’s a lot of crap in the fandom that gives it such a bad reputation, I’m always ashamed to admit I like Hetalia when I really shouldn’t be. Also, a lot of times fans can be really disrespectful. You really shouldn’t have to tell cosplayers not to do a nazi salute...

If there is something I would change from said game/show/movie/etc., what would it be: I’d like it if it was explicitly stated what happened to fucking Holy Roman Empire. I mean, at this point everyone’s pretty much 99% certain he became Germany, but it’s never been directly stated, so you’ve always got those “HRE theory isn’t canon!” people and you can’t really tell them they’re wrong... Also, BETTER FUCKING ANIMATION. PLEASE.

✈ - hobbies?

SOB I’m so happy someone asked me about my hobbies because I don’t have time for them! I promise I love drawing, reading, going to the movies, hanging out with my friends, Egyptian history and visiting historical landmarks:D. I’m quite sure I’d love traveling as well, but I don’t have the moneys.

ツ - any pets?

Yes! Marwan, our 1-year old kitten. He has physical health issues so we gotta take gentle care with him, but he’s smart and seakyXD.

☂ - favorite season?

HUR I’M GONNA TALK ABOUT SEASONS IN EGYPT. Spring is a terrible season here because that’s when the sandstorms hit. Everybody’s allergies go nuts during this period. Many trees die for a reason I don’t understand. Winter in Egypt must be a blessing when compared to countries like Canada or Russia, but remember that we don’t have central heating systems. So we gotta handle the cold one way or another. It rarely ever snows in Cairo. It never did all my life, but last year, there were reports of snow in the very outer areas of the city, where it’s naturally more open and colder. As for summer, well this is Egypt we’re talking aboutXD. Very hot. Very humid. A few minutes outside and you wanna go home and faint in your bed. That leaves fall, where the weather is warm but also has a nice breeze, and the trees are still alive. So I choose fall.

Black hair!;D
