One of the largest animals that lives or has ever lived, these gargantuan herbivores are known for their incredibly tall necks.
Sauropoda Novus. The tallneck hatches from a basketball sized, white egg covered in tiny black dots. It can live for around 130 years and reaches it full size after 30.
They feed exclusively on leaves and tree fruits using their long tongues and massive jaws. Capable and forced to eat several tons of greenery every day, tallnecks prefer fruits and the leaves of deciduous trees, but will also strip evergreens down to their trunks during winter.
Forest Clearers. Tallnecks are docile and ignore any creature that is not an immediate threat. They travel in packs of four to eight individuals. These packs will roam and clear entire forests of their lower canopies as they go. A tallneck spends almost its entire day eating. It is assumed that this animal is capable of sleeping as it stands and chews.
Home. Tallnecks can be found in all temperate regions with heavy forestation. They may migrate across plains, but will not linger there long.
