First off: I despise how the photos won't do justice to the improvement of my hair. . . So, I have always had "big" hair. A part of me attributes that to my star sign (Leo - my hair is like a Lion's mane), then there are my genes (most of the girls from my dad's side have curly hair). When the weather's cold, ny hair dries up and becomes brittle. No amount of conditioner saves it and the leave-in ones weigh my hair down and make it sticky without helping manageability at all. . Since dabbling in #EssentialOils, I've been looking for solutions to a lot of our issues with EOs. I tried out a hair serum with Chamomile and Lavender in a base of Argan and Sunflower Oil. I LOVE IT1 . How much difference did it make? #JeremeAaliyah stared at my hair for a full minute before saying: "What happened to your hair? It's not YOUR hair. You're not my Nanay anymore?" Well sweetheart, much as I love my mermaid waves, dry and brittle hair isn't nice. The curls have more definition now too! . #LangisNiNanay #Oilbularyo

#PilyasPotions #LangisNiNanay . . I enjoy making stuff we use, and consider myself a guinea pig when it comes to trying stuff out. I made a face wash with #CasaDeLorenzo Castile Soap (Calamansi, smells great), Aloe Gel, and Essential Oils. The first blend cobtained equal amounts of Lavender, Frankincense Frereana, and Lemongrass. There's improvement in the appearance of my acne scars, but the pictures don't show how quickly my pimples dried up while I was using this face wash. . . I make small batches because I don't have preservatives handy, so it took me 10 days to finish the first batch. Made another batch tonight with a few more added oils. Let's see. . . #DIYniNanay #DontBashMyFace hahaha
