hey, so i'm considering taking the lsats later this year but i don't really know where to start in preparation for it. do you have any studying resources that you used or that you've seen other people use and gotten good scores?
It really depends on the method of learning that works best for you. I’ve seen people buy prep books and absolutely nail the LSAT. Personally, I took an LSAT prep course that my university offered. That worked really well for me. However, full disclosure: I took the LSAT twice. The second time, I used prep books. However, I don’t think that’s an indication the prep book method was better. I found the prep course my Uni did really really helpful. BUT, I got a migraine 3/4 of the way through and bumbled my way through logic puzzles on my first try. The second try was migraine free and I got the score I wanted.
Long story short: the prep-course was the way to go for me. But at the end of the day your LSAT prep needs to be tailored to the way your brain absorbs and retains information.
