Genderfluid language
What's the big deal for English speakers to use genderfluid pronouns like 'they'? My mother tongue Kannada has 'avanu'(he), 'avaLu'(she) and 'avaru'(they) as common terms. Avaru is generally used either to refer a group of people or to a singular person as a sign of respect. Can't see why in English language we can't use 'they' pronoun to refer to a single person too🤷🏾♀️
Language must evolve, like it usually does when it borrows words & practices from other languages.
