Hello! Once you get this you have to answer with 5 things you like about yourself, publicly, then send this on to 10 of your favorite followers (non-negotiable, positivity is super cool!)
Hi!! Thank you so much!! @ccstudys, @toastystudent, and @psyduckstudies also tagged / sent me this, so I think that adds up to 20 things! I’m sorry that this is so late, I’ve been busy with school and finals :)
I like my passion for learning Japanese. It’s the first thing I’ve ever been interested in to such an extent!
I like my fashion sense. I can’t remember the last time I left the house wearing a t-shirt. ((technically it was yesterday, but it didn’t have a print on it, and before that, it had been months)) I feel like I always look put-together. ((this is in no way dissing t-shirts bc I wear them around the house all the time and they’re rlly comfy))
I like my ear for music. I have a good ear for picking out when a note sounds off.
I like my grasp of the English language. I read a lot, so my vocabulary and grammar are advanced for someone my age.
I like my willingness to try new things. ((going on exchange, eating new foods are potlucks, going parasailing, etc.))
I like my ability to overcome any problem thrown my way. I recently struggled in my math class and was very close to getting a B and losing my 4.0 GPA. However, I sat down and studied and talked to my teacher every day after school, and I managed to get an A on my math final, and keep my GPA! (i’m screaming i’m so happy about this)
I like my voice. I don’t have an obnoxious voice.
I like my ability to sense minute changes in people’s inflection and body language. It tells me where and where not to steer a conversation. It’s also saved me on multiple occasions. ((not as in, “i was in danger” but as in “i saved face before it was too late”)
I like that I’m gradually coming to understand myself better. I’ve always had a hard time trying to figure out who I am, but I feel that I’ve been finding myself lately.
I like that I have a strong sense of right and wrong. I hate cheating. (I’m that person who tells the teacher who cheated. people hate me bc of that)
I like that I don’t lose hope. When something difficult happens or I encounter a setback, I take a deep breath and work my way around it.
I like (that’s a very loose use of the word like) that I have an uncommon disease because it gives me an opportunity to spread awareness about a disease that isn’t very well known. ((I have Crohn’s Disease btw)) ((I also want to point out that Google didn’t even recognize it as a word, and I feel like that says it all))
I like that I recycle. Recycling makes me feel like such a good person, and like I’m actually making a difference!
I like that I don’t let people step all over me. I stand up for myself and I don’t let people use me for things like answers and group projects.
I like that, as much I love a good fight (and boy do I love arguing with people) I know when it’s best to walk away. Instead of yelling, I’m good at blocking / avoiding people who make me angry. ((i kind of have anger issues so i mean...))
I like that I’m someone who people can come to with questions. People ask me questions about the content in our classes, and that makes me feel good about myself.
I like that I’m a good listener. I often listen to rants and let people vent, and sometimes am able to give good advice lol.
I like that I have a broad view of the world. I’m able to look beyond my country and look at the world as a whole when thinking about things. I don’t think that my country is the only one that matters.
I like that I can appreciate the little things, like a rainy day, or a cat walking across the street, or the little plant growing out of a crack in the sidewalk. I enjoy photography, so these are often the kinds of things that I take pictures of.
I like that I can find this many things that I like about myself. Recently I’ve come to like myself as a person. I have a pretty good view of myself and I love myself.
