Always a firm ruler over his land, he learned from a young age that whore-fucking and drinking were not compatible acts with the nature of leading a house, much less a kingdom. He vowed to not commit himself to the same indulgences his father fell to, nearly expediting the ruin of their family. THE LION HAND took over his father's position when he fell bed-ridden, his drinking having sent him to his grave, and commanded his position to its former glory. He made friends in high places, including THE MAD KING. Their relationship began quite fondly and it was no surprise to the kingdom when the lion was named Hand. With THE MAD KING's increasingly erratic behavior, however, it has become clear that the kingdoms are no longer safe in a Targaryen's hands. Though he has come to favor THE CROWN PRINCE, he ultimately looks to further his own house's influence and if he cannot find a place for a Lannister to sit next to THE CROWN PRINCE's throne, THE LION HAND will find someone more suitable for his loyalty.

HISTORY //

THE GOLDEN KNIGHT is frequently fawned upon by ladies of the court, particularly because he is so eligible. Often found in the company of THE CROWN PRINCE, the pair are notorious for their friendship. Whereas THE CROWN PRINCE is humble and modest, THE GOLDEN KNIGHT wallows in his reputation for his swordhand and will often use it to his advantage. Following the prince's precedent, he was knighted at seventeen and quickly found himself gaining proficiency, surpassing even his most achieved teacher. THE GOLDEN KNIGHT excites himself with promise. He revels in tournaments and pursues a challenge. His uncle, THE LION HAND, is a cold man whose heart left him when his wife died birthing his only son. THE GOLDEN KNIGHT has expressed his desire to join the Kingsguard and has been met with venomous disdain - THE GOLDEN KNIGHT imagines his uncle's sudden interest in a marriage is to produce another heir in case his nephew forfeits his claim.

THE CUNNING LIONESS was born a twin to THE GOLDEN KNIGHT, who has proved himself incompetent and uninterested in thrones. She holds every ounce of ambition that may have been divided between them. When she and her brother came to be wards of their uncle, it became clear that THE CUNNING LIONNESS was meant to rule. She has enough gold at her dispense to obtain whatever it is she likes, enough craft to persuade should gold not be an adequate incentive. Her ultimate goal is to be queen. When her first opportunity was shattered with the rejection of her hand in marriage to THE CROWN PRINCE, the lioness turned herself to urging her uncle to break ties with the Targaryens. She sees a strength in THE NORTHERN HEIR and his alliance with THE ARDENT STAG. While she feigns loyalty for now, acting as a confidante to THE GENTLE PRINCESS, the lioness is just waiting to seize her crown.
