i need more kane and grian content… i’ve been spinning them in my head for a hot minute and i can’t stop thinking about them i fear

kane and grian are soooo important to me. i'm so happy you're enjoying them! :D

there's just something about how much grian helped open up kane's world. how much growth this allowed for kane, and how grian—and also scar—helped him get more in touch with his emotions and vulnerabilities, and have him know that they're not a bad thing at all. (the way he's watched these two be vulnerable over and over again. the helplessness he begins to feel once they get inexplicably tangled, close and caring, and he finds himself desperate to help them heal, help them be safe, help them to hurt less... and the way he eventually comes to realise that they're not really that different in some aspects! and that people can be strong even if they're afraid or hurt or have moments of weakness. even more so, maybe, because they have those moments. how much tenacity and stubbornness it takes to persevere. how admirable it is, even if it's stained by tears and laughter and bruised heartbeat. and that emotions can be magical even if they're not turned into magic.) but also, vice versa, whatever's going on between them is so important for grian too, who really really needs positive relationships in this world.

holds them in my hands. cradles them even. (i say, as i try to hide the bloodstains on my skin. haha-)
