This 1929 converted church in Greenville, SC is also a book lover's dream, but I posted it a long time ago and it hasn't sold. This time, it's been on the market 165 days. It has 3bds, 5ba, 5,608sqft, and they're asking $4.45m (Zillow's est.: $3,952,300).

Millionaires that have $4.45m to spend may want a mansion, instead of something that's more "industrial" looking. This is the front porch & entrance. Those of us who could never afford it would love to have it, though.

And, if you're looking for luxury, you wouldn't consider this entry hall particularly magnificent, like a big double staircase. It's going to take a very wealthy buyer w/very specific taste.

Judging by the little Cape Cod house w/the bookshelf walls that we saw yesterday, this is crazy. Look at how high it is. In the middle there's a nice fireplace and this room is the living/dining room/kitchen.

This space is so large, there's a music area at the other end.

The kitchen's very large and there's an opening in the industrial style ceiling where you can see clear up to the eaves.

Then, here's a very large bath.

The primary bedroom is in a loft. You can see that the coffered church ceiling has been painted black.

And, there's a fireplace in front of the bed.

Back here there's the ensuite.

And, there's also a home office.

There's a casual rec room area here with doors to the patio, a kitchenette, and a modern fireplace wall.

And, this is a family/TV room.

The owners currently use this open area as a home gym.

And, this is the second bedroom and bath.

The third bedroom is also very large.

This looks like it can also be used as a guest suite b/c of the kitchenette.

And while it's listed as a 3bd home, this is a 4th bedroom suite. So, it's a versatile area.

There's a very nice deck back here with a beautiful garden.

The main patio has an outdoor kitchen under a pergola and a lap pool.

This is awful- a perfectly preserved, unique mid century modern home in Westport, CT is a demolition sale. Only the furnishings are for sale, b/c the house is being torn down. The 5bd, 4.5ba home underwent a $13m renovation in the 1990s, and now someone bought the 2.6 acre waterfront property to level it and build a new home.

The sale table is already set up in the entrance.

This is so unique. Look at the big green light. Buyers must pay cash or use Venmo.

You can see the price tags on some of the furniture.

I like the carpet, and there's a matching orange light. I wonder how much of this they will sell to put toward their future McMansion.

The kitchen has orange & green cabinetry. My parents bought a house that had old metal cabinets and my mother bought someone's old kitchen cabinets. They fit perfectly and since they were plain, they were timeless. Much cheaper than buying new.

I guess the big island is for sale, too.

Look at this big wall unit.

Dining set with heart-shaped chairbacks is for sale.

The primary bedroom. That bed is cool.

Huge bathroom. Can you imagine buying that big round light?

You can buy the closet shelving.

Or this cool orange door.

This was a library or den area with rounded shelving.

Could you buy the stairs?

This house is so unique.

It could be nicer than anything new they build. I would rather refresh this house.

Look at this cool room and ensuite.

Another nice bedroom.

And, it has a walk-in closet.

In the basement there's a game room with a purple carpet.

And, look at this bath.

This must've been a pool room.

Beautiful indoor lap pool.

Look at the tile in this shower room. So much beautiful tile in the home will just go to waste.

All of this stuff looks new.

Yard with a deck outside. This is such a waste.
