I chose to do a diagnostic laparoscopy first before my hysto, but I’m wondering if I should even bother. The endo can be found later if it’s there, but the Adenomyosis is making my life hell here and now. Like now that I know why I’m feeling these horrible symptoms, I realize what I’ve really been living with and the extent of my suffering. I am so used to being in pain or things not working right that I’ve literally been accustomed to it. For instance, struggling to insert tampons or having lots of pain when I do? Just part of it all and it was easy to try and blame anxiety on that, even though i wasn’t anxious?? But holy crap I’m a mess and was used to having to live like I wasn’t. I want to be free.
