I got a club membership yesterday at a facility that has a pool. I went and swam some laps today and it was wonderful. I haven't swam in a pool in over a year. I used to swim 3-5 hours a day could pretty much swim non-stop. Today I could barely make it to 150 yards at a time. The whole time though I was so happy and I really enjoyed myself. I won't ever be where I was when I was swimming competitively, but I want to be at a good and comfortable level in order to do some open water swims. I really don't like the red face and goggle marks after I'm done, but I'm really trying to embrace it 😋.

This is a long post, but I'm just so happy to have found a good pool that I can swim in and wanted to share :) maybe next time I'll feel brave enough to sneak out and get a picture of the pool, it's pretty old but is still beautiful and kept up well.
