carbohidrate georgia i don’t know if you know this but your selfies slay me and your use of lip color is on point.  i admire your dedication to your writing and your sense of aesthetic (your blog is gorgeous) and i can’t believe you’re only 16 because you seem wise beyond your years.  your writing is already a+ and i know it’s only going to get better and better as you get older and i’m so excited to see that happen (niall fic!!!!).

goldnstyles brianne i am in awe of you and your writing and your heart.  the first message you ever sent me was when i was struggling with homesickness in my first few days abroad and i’m not sure i ever even answered it but you helped me so much.  thank you for convincing me to do the fic exchange, because even though it made me want to dig out my eyeballs with a spoon sometimes, it was really rewarding and amazing to see everyone’s creations.  also expect me to hit you up for advice when i start student teaching, ahhhhhh!

lilfrogboy leesh i love chatting with you about fic and stuff.  i love your snapchat stories of your cat and it honestly baffles me that you live a whole day in the future from me and also in an entirely different season???  but today i went to target and they had swimsuits already so really does anyone know what season it is???  anyhow i’m glad we’re friends and i love hearing all of the things that your creative mind thinks up!!     

and lunagoes1d natalia you were pretty much the first person to say anything to me about gmat and you’ve been one of the things that’s kept me writing it.  you have a big giant beautiful heart and and i’m so excited to get your letter and become international pen pals!!!  you live in such a cool place and i want to hear more about it and i can’t wait to get my life together and read more of your writing because i’m seriously missing out!!!

4. What part of the fic was the hardest for me to write?

oh man, the harry chapters.  harry's life is so boring and he has very little to do with the plot in comparison to kit, so for every harry chapter i sit down and i'm like, "what boring thing is harry going to do today while he thinks about kit perkins?"  that's hopefully going to change in upcoming chapters, though.  exciting stuff planned for harry!!

12. Did any thing about this fic’s reception surprise me?

yes!!!  that anyone is reading it at all is a surprise for me, because it's pretty different in style, i think, from what most people are writing on 1dff.  but it makes me really happy that people enjoy it and rec it and stuff.  :)
