             Walking around the barn, a strange gem was the last thing Lapis expected. The gem looked like Sapphire but off colour? She didn’t seem like she was causing any harm, but the gem was still invading Lapis’ home uninvited.

            “Um, can I help you?” the blue gem asked. Usually she would capture any intruder in a water bubble, though this gem wasn’t giving off a ‘bad guy’ vibe. Might as well try to be civil.

                A somewhat familiar looking gem caught Lapis’ eye; one she had seen with Steven and the others a while back before disappearing. “Hey,” she said, approaching the rather large gem. “You’re friends with Steven, right?”

                “State your business here or face the consequences,” Lapis threatened the Pearl. She had heard Steven talk about this gem, and Peridot had mentioned her once or twice. This gem was Yellow Diamond’s personal assistant of sorts, which could only mean trouble.

                “Garnet? What are you doing here?” the blue gem asked, flying down to the ground to stand before the fusion.

                “Is Steven alright?” It wasn’t every day Garnet visited the barn, especially alone. Lapis could only imagine what brought her here to her home.
