Pocahontas vibes
Lapidot
So I found two old stories I sketched the last year, I was thinking to bring al least one in digital, clean it up, adjust it and post it.
Which one would you like to see?
- Lapis and Peridot trying to fuse
- Lapis and Peridot first kiss
I thinked a lot about it and...yes THEY ARE PERFECT. I just cant understand why nobody noticed it but yeah, this is the best AU we deserve about SUxDBS. From left to right:
Peridot AS Frost [Shorty pricky squad]
Sapphire AS Kale [ Both crybabies ; Attention here: they are usually quiet but dont make them angry ] Amethyst AS Champa [ Well.....eating buddies : purple skin ; childish ] Pearl AS Vados [ Salty sarcastic queens ; Always reproach to Amethyst/Champa ] Lapis AS Hit [ be quiet please ; always want to be alone ; everyone is stupid ]
I NEED TO DO MORE STUFF ABOUT IT
Stay tuned for more Crystal Gems x Universe 6 squad <3
Gems!au pt.4
Elena was a Morganite, a personal soldier only for the aristocratic gems, assigned to a White Sapphire. She had emerged a few hundred years before, and she had been with White Sapphire only for a decade.
This Sapphire had been sent to a colonized planet, to control the terraforming process, and had brought Elena with her. Although she had hesitations, because of a vision.
One of the Lapis sent to terraform was Victoria, she too, like Elena, was emerged from a few hundred years. It was her first terraformation but she knew very well what to expect. That's why she went there quietly.
She certainly didn't expect to be defective.
While doing her job, she strained too much and her gem cracked. She was flying, so, when it happened, her wings disappeared and she fell. She was taken by two Amethysts, who then took her to the makeshift base, where they called their Diamond. The Pearl, however, redirected the call to a Hessonite.
This, once realized that Victoria was defective and therefore useless for a Lapis, told the Amethysts to shattered her. And they would have done it if it had not intervened Elena, who put KO the two warrior gems. She couldn't bear that a gem was destroyed for such a silly reason.
But now that she had compromised an order, they would be in trouble. Then she took the Lapis by the wrist and ran to the first ship he found. At first Victoria was confused, she didn't understand why a Morganite could help a faulty gem. But she was too weak to worry about it.
They got on the ship and Elena took her off. She was not a great driver, but she knew some basics.
After a few minutes of undisturbed flight, the Lapis turned to her: "Why did you do it?" Churches: "Why are you helping me?"
Elena snorted: "A Thanks would be enough."
Lapis was silent for a moment: "Thank you, but I don't really understand why."
Elena shrugged: "I didn't want them to shattered you just because you're faulty. I don't know you, but you don't deserve it anyway."
More moments of silence passed.
"I'm Victoria, anyway." Then said the Lapis.
"Elena." Morganite answered, smiling.
Arriving on the Homeworld, as they had expected, are in awaited a host of gems, ready to capture them and to shatter them.
Victoria turned out to be a pretty good driver. She managed to drive the ship, so as to avoid the gems. But these pursued them.
They didn't understand if it was Victoria's abrupt jerk due to the new crack on her gem, or the soldiers' attacks, to make the ship skid. In any case, they soon found themselves bouncing off the ship, as it crashed into the rough rocks of the Homeworld.
Elena got up first, and immediately a great worry invaded her. She checked around, looking for the Lapis. She was afraid that with a blow like that her gem had shattered.
Fortunately, Victoria had just been thrown a little farther away from her. When she reached her, however, she saw that the cracks on her gem had increased, and it was obvious that she could not get up. So Elena put her on the back and ran away, already feeling the gems that were reaching them.
Victoria knew they wouldn't be fast enough. So, despite the few energies, she made her wings appear and, ignoring Elena's protests, got them up in the air. She tried to fly as fast as she could but the forces left her sooner than she thought, and she lost consciousness.
Elena didn't quite understand what was happening, she saw only a small pink gem approaching Victoria and then urgently call another fusion, smaller than the previous one, and tell him to bring the Lapis to their hiding place. Rutile, the little gem had said.
At the hiding place, Coco healed Victoria, and then, the two new gems, explained what had happened.
"You could stay here, with us!" Hector suggested, and the others leaned on him.
With no other alternatives, the Lapis and the Morganite accepted.
Gradually they understood the levels that Victoria could endure. They were quite high, but once chipped the gem she became weaker and weaker. That's why Coco always worried about being near her, so she could take care of her in case of need.
