Sneaky, typically short tempered tom, who is far more arrogant than he lets on, although being rather skinny he doesn’t always have the physical prowess to back his arrogance up. Fortunately for him his wit can usually make up for it. He always believes he knows the right way to do things and any cat who disagrees is wrong, but he's smart enough not to be too obvious about it. He didn't think much of wanting leadership in his youth, and only wanted to be the best warrior he could, but he grew increasingly spiteful of outside cats trespassing and wanted them dealt with as quickly as possible and to respect Riverclan. He had a habit of over stepping his boundaries and trying to talk over his clanmates from time to time, and coming across as condescending in the process. He doesn't take no for an answer very well and gradually began eyeing the deputy position. He believes in doing anything necessary for the sake of what he believes to be the greater good. He is very clever and works incredibly hard to fall into favor with his leader but some cats find his switching between incredibly aggressive and out spoken, to cold, quiet and obedient unnerving. He doesn't always sit right with Aspenstar but lucky for him it's against her better nature to doubt her clanmates. He is not a very sympathetic cat who is easily swayed by emotions and is responsible for more than one "accidental" death on the battle field in his life. He doesn't believe any cat outside his clan is worth worrying about. But to his credit, he does care for the well being of his clan, and only wants what's best for it. If only he could see beyond what his own idea of "best" is. His unwavering opinionated nature would have earned him a -heart suffix but he didn't become quite so incredibly outspoken until his warrior years. He was close with Maplefang growing up and used to have feelings for her, admiring her skill and how she wasn't emotionally swayed like other cats, instead focusing on getting things done without the foolishness. He didn't know how to go about approaching her, as he can be a bit socially awkward, but in his head they were such a perfect match he didn't think there was any way they couldn't end up together, but when she rejected him he drifted away from her, becoming almost spiteful and they rarely interacted again. He is later killed by Batclaw after he attempts to kill the deputy Blacktail and Mintpaw when his ambitions grew so much, he thought he needed to be leader right now before he lost his chance. He ended up losing the chance for good.
