Lohse is finished - and I enjoyed the shit out of this painting.
Sometimes you just need a painting to go well after one doesn’t go so well, - and this was a nice, quick reset (about 8 hours in total).
Hope you’re all well, and next I’m going to try and tackle Control again, but with a limited palette and more of an action scene.

Hey y'all I've been reblogging some posts relating to the recent situation with Larian Studios relating to their use of generative ai and (alleged) internal racism and bigotry within the company.
While I believe Larian fucking sucks now I also believe that the artists behind the company (those who are not said to be as stated in the paragraph above) don't deserve the same criticism for working there. They need said job to fucking survive and it's not their fault generative ai is being shoved in their face when it has been stated that many in the company despise the idea and the higher ups are the ones even pushing it in the first place.
We can still appreciate the games and the work put into them while hating the company. I mean we've done it before with many other companies (Disney, Universal, Nintendo, Blizzard, Ubisoft, etc).
Also... if you DO intend on playing one of their past titles or buying bg3 this Christmas... there are alternative routes you can take (winks subtly in yar har fiddle dee dee)
Since DOS3 is rumored to come out I hope that I'll be able to crack my beautiful, charming Fane in 4k like in BG3
