If I could get one scene fully animated from divinity orginal sin: 2 it would be Ifans kissing scene Lohse candle scene. Just the sea of candles as far as the eye can see the weight of what each one of those candles mean heavy on the mind. To see Lohse face as she decides what to do, when she talks about how for the first time in years it’s quite.
That scene is already so emotional in my opinion and ik if it where a cinematic I would be crying.
Even just this image take my breath away.
In a sea of all these lights reflected in her pupils the only light you search for is hers. To kill all those people every person who fell victim to the demon: from a dad who understands the sacrifice that must be made to a murderer who rages at the mere thought of his light being snuffed out. And the one to make the choice a bard full of life who just wants to be free wants no one else to suffer.
I have so many thoughts on this scene and who Lohse is (and all the characters really), but it is 3:30 am and I’m to tired to express all that. I just love this game and its characters so so so much.
