I would be fine with aus like that if they didn't actually confuse people into completely misunderstanding fanon as canon and getting a charactef completely wrong

Yeah that’s my thoughts too--go have fun with your AUs but the fact that i see 2k+ posts spreading around the AU as canon makes me upset. You can do whatever you want with canon, imo, but try not to confuse other people about it.

you do realise that making original outfits that actually go with the theme won’t make you get a good rank… right?

the competitions are judged by other players, so yeah they kinda do. it’s the contests where it doesn’t matter

in any case, i don’t care that much about my rank. sometimes i’ll fiddle with outfits if it’s really low, but seeing other players outfits is more fun than worrying about how well i’m doing
