I haven't shown you the finished shield yet so here it is - painted and waterproofed with hooks on the back so I can hang it on my back. To be honest, it came out a little heavy, but I enjoyed the whole process and I will gladly do another shield... or something else.
One of my current babies. I can’t wait to take this (reasonably sized) beast into battle.
Tomorrow it will be textured a bit further and plastidipped, then (hopefully) painted in time for this weekend.
Step two done - now the shield boss is waiting for montage but first I need to do the handle. And finally I'll have to secure the edge and I'll be ready to go.
