Argonak - Grineer laser sights
Humor of laser-sight melee weapons
Just watched the Faith Healer/Football episode (S11E11) of the Simpsosn, and Fat Tony has a laser light icepick he threatens Homer with.
I feel this sort of gag could be done even better.
A hunting season for the blind
If you were to leaf through the Michigan DNR’s 2018 Hunting Digest - a 60-page pamphlet that documents the state’s hunting rules and regulations - you would see that a fairly new deer hunting season called the “Independence Hunt” will take place Oct. 18-21.
It’s a season meant for hunters with severe disabilities, including blind hunters. Not hunters who hunt IN a blind, but those who ARE blind.
You may wonder how a person who can’t see could accurately aim a rifle or shotgun.
I sure did. So, I noodled around online and found a story out of Wisconsin about a blind deer hunter. He used a tripod rest for his gun and hunted alongside a sighted companion who helped him line up the shot. Then the blind hunter pulled the trigger.
Also, Michigan and other states allow blind hunters to use laser sights, which send a beam of light to the target, making it easier for the blind hunter’s companion to judge the accuracy of the shot.
So, there you go.
